Key responsibilities: The main purpose of the Proposal Writer role is to develop persuasive and tailored proposal content that effectively communicates Impellam's value proposition, helping the IPS sales team win new business and retain existing clients. Main Responsibilities Proposal Development: Lead the creation, writing, and editing of proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and capability documents for the IPS sales team. Content Management: Maintain a centralized content library of proposal materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current brand messaging and compliance requirements. Collaboration: Partner with sales, operations, and subject matter experts to gather information, tailor responses, and ensure proposals accurately reflect client needs and Impellam's capabilities. Quality Assurance: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, structure, and adherence to proposal guidelines. Brand Alignment: Ensure all proposal materials reflect Impellam's tone of voice, brand standards, and value propositions. Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent proposals, track progress, and meet strict submission deadlines. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, templates, and response efficiency. Data & Reporting: Support reporting on proposal metrics, win/loss analysis, and key insights to improve future submissions. Work experience and attributes: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or technical writing - ideally within the staffing, recruiting, or professional services industry. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Proven ability to synthesize technical or operational content into clear, client-focused language. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Teams. Nice to Have: Familiarity with proposal automation or CRM tools (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO, Salesforce). Knowledge of staffing industry terminology, workforce solutions, and managed service provider (MSP) models. Experience supporting sales teams or working in a corporate environment with complex solution offerings. Ensure that all content on DenverFan.com is fresh and represents the high standards of 104.3 The Fan. The ideal candidate for this position demonstrates strong editorial skills and sound news judgment with experience reporting or writing for a print publication or online news outlet. This is a unique position that requires extreme flexibility, including work on weekends, evenings, etc. In addition, the position requires the flexibility and dependability to work additional hours during breaking news and other big sporting events. Works closely with the digital media team, sports and other departments to help make DenverFan.com a world class web site.
