We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to develop and maintain accurate documentation for chemical processes, safety procedures, and compliance reporting. This role ensures that complex technical information is communicated clearly to support operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a chemical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety manuals.

Generates complete material list for all required work.

Engineers the installation of various telephone equipment from Ciena, Fujitsu, Infinera, ALU, and other approved vendors in central offices using Spec Design, TAB/db, AutoCAD, and various Microsoft Office Programs.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Copywriter & Editor position is responsible for producing engaging and clear long-form and short-form copy for marketing and sales materials, including but not limited to emails, print collateral, digital ads, blog posts, webpages, press releases, and more. You will work within the Marketing and Communications office and provide copywriting support for multiple offices, including admissions, development, constituent relations, academic affairs, Office of the President, and student development. Content will focus on generating engagement from our key audience of prospective students, parents, alumni, and donors.
This role will require excellent proofreading and editing skills. In addition, this role will have elements of research needs for identifying and writing stories about our community (alumni, students, faculty) and project management skills for ensuring projects stay on task and meet deadlines. This position will also serve as the editor for the
VIEW
magazine, the main creative and high-end print publication produced by the Marketing and Communications office. Responsibilities will involve writing, editing, sourcing content, managing production deadlines, and collaborating with the design team on layout.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Writing engaging and clear written content focused on storytelling each aspect of the Covenant story while building meaningful connections, increasing brand awareness, and encouraging prospective families and community members to engage with the brand.

Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations and is responsible for ideation and creation of compelling, on-brand content. This person is responsible for maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all content, including website copy, emails, blog posts, social media, digital PR, product and service descriptions, as well as employee communications.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of producing messaging that increases engagement and drives intended actions. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write successful content. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Must be able to effectively collaborate with others within the marketing department, external agency partners and internal departments.
Job Responsibility
Create compelling copy designed to resonate with designated target audiences resulting in performance-driven metrics (leads, new customers, reactivations)
Research and understand target audiences' mindsets and behaviors, as well as establish an intimate knowledge of the various company's brands, products and services.
Work with marketing team to develop advertisements
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners from concept development to delivery of final product
Collaborate with external partners to create and optimize website content to capitalize on content opportunities identified through keyword research, competitor analysis, industry research, content mapping, Search Engine Optimization best practices, customer feedback/research and other types of content analysis
Create and manage content marketing calendars in collaboration with ad agency and Supervisor
For content marketing tactics, coordinate with marketing, ad agency and design teams to ensure that content is presented for best user experience using illustration and animation, where applicable
Ensure all-around consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style and brand standards across all content
Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and deliver accurate, effective content by established deadlines
Post content to Content Management Systems, Social Management Platform, Press Release News Wires as needed
Stay current on marketing/advertising best practices, latest content marketing trends, and techniques for creating effective and engaging copy focused on superior UX/CX
Work with internal teams to generate employee-facing content that drives engagement
Job Responsibilities Cont. Education Required
BA/BS degree, in English or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Required
3+ years' experience writing in agency or corporate environment.
Experience in writing ads, blogs, ecommerce websites, SEO content, press releases, social marketing, and email marketing
Proficient in Word and PowerPoint, Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal or Contentful), and Social Management Platform
FinTech experience a plus
Knowledge Required
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
Ability to create and generate creative, effective content under tight deadlines
Excellent researching skills
Sharp attention to grammar, spelling, punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines
Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products

Section editors are team players who write, take photos and design pages for a particular area (news, features, opinions, entertainment, and sports) of the Six Mile Post newspaper, while also overseeing a small team of writers and photographers producing work for their assigned section.
Responsibilities
* Coming up with story ideas to bring to required weekly staff meetings for your assigned section and the wjole paper, in general.
* Use an online story assignment software program to write up descriptions of story assignments for writers and photographers assigned to their section.
* Tracking story assignments, motivating and coaching writers and photographers reporting to your section, collecting stories by deadline, copy editing and sending stories back for rewrites/corrections.
* Section editors will be expected to design and layout pages for any printed issues.
* Section editors may, at times, need to complete a story and/or photograph assignment if a volunteer staff member does not meet their deadline.
* Related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
* A B average or higher in a recent high school or college English course
* Willingness to learn new skills in writing, page layout and design
* Ability to take constructive criticism well
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office
* Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Strong writing skills are a must- this includes grammar, punctuation, spelling, awareness of subject/verb agreement, attention to voice, and the ability to write for a broad group of people in a clear way.
* The ability and willingness to interact with unfamiliar people- in person, on the phone and through email, in a professional but warm and friendly manner. Interviewing is a part of this position.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is preferred.
* Punctuality, organization and maturity are necessary and expected traits for this position.
* Familiarity with photo editing and page design software is desired not required (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
* Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions
* Skill in oral and written communication
