What You Will Do:
* Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as; City, County and State DOT
* Perform design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
* Attend client meetings and taking meeting minutes
What You Will Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
* 1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred
* Valid driver's license with a good driving record
* Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment
* Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation
