This Opportunity WSP is currently searching for a highly experienced and motivated Geomatics Market Lead/Project Manager to join our Midwest Region Geomatics Team. This position plays a critical role in delivering surveying and geospatial solutions for Transportation and Infrastructure projects across the Midwest, with a focus on state and local DOTs, MPOs, and transit agencies. The preferred location for this position is Minneapolis, MN, but can also be located in our other Midwest hub offices: Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, or St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will lead project delivery, business development, and staff mentorship while ensuring technical excellence and high-quality deliverables. This is a seller-doer role with broad responsibility for pursuing, winning, and managing geomatics-related projects.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in geomatics, land surveying, GIS, remote sensing, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in geomatics services, with a focus on Transportation and Infrastructure.
* Proven track record of winning and managing geomatics projects for DOTs and public agencies.
* Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
* Experience with CAD and geospatial data processing software.
* Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
* Knowledge of land surveying and geospatial analysis principles and practices.
* Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree is a plus.

This Opportunity
WSP's Cultural Resources Management Team are located across the United States, with over 30 cultural resources professionals housed in our offices in Louisville, Kentucky; Lexington, Kentucky; Kansas City, Missouri; Ballwin, Missouri; and Jefferson City, Missouri.
WSP has immediate openings for on-call Field Archaeologists with a long-term Phase III archaeological data recovery project at five multi-component Pre-Contact archaeological sites. The sites are located in close proximity to each other. and contain components dating from the Late Archaic through the Late Pre-Contact periods. It is probable that the sites contain the remains of the early use of plants of the Eastern Agricultural Complex, and experience on Pre-Contact sites, and with the identification and excavation of Pre-Contact features, is particularly desirable.
This is an on-call, hourly position. Hourly rates are industry competitive, (depending on North American CRM experience and regional archaeological experience).
Candidates local to Arkansas, Missouri, eastern Oklahoma, and eastern Kansas are ideal due to work location and schedule, but all qualified applicants will be considered. WSP also has ongoing Phase I, II, and III work in other states with additional upcoming work.
Your Impact
* Assist with multiple Phase III data recovery projects (with additional work at Phase I and II levels), with specific tasks including:
* archaeological test unit and shovel test excavation;
* excavation of cultural features;
* recovery and identification of archaeological artifacts and other materials;
* use archaeological field forms to record archaeological data, including type and number of artifacts, soil color (Munsell) and soil textures, and other relevant information;
* Work effectively as part of a team;

You are familiar with boundary survey principles and Record Maps, Surveys and ALTAs. Your Opportunity
Stantec's Environmental Services practice seeks a Project Manager (Renewable Energy) to provide project management, environmental regulatory, and permitting services with a focus on Shadow Flicker & Environmental Compliance of renewable energy projects. You will lead efforts to assess, manage, and mitigate shadow flicker impacts from wind turbines for our clients' proposed wind energy developments. You will also manage cross-functional efforts to assist our wind, solar and battery energy storage clients in successfully permitting at the local, state, and federal levels. You'll play a key role in renewable energy project permitting, client and agency engagement and client development, ensuring our clients projects meet environmental standards and community expectations. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage shadow flicker assessments across multiple wind energy projects.
* Oversee modeling and analysis using tools such as WindPRO, ArcGIS, or similar software applications.
* Coordinate with our clients' engineering, siting, and permitting teams to optimize turbine layouts.
* Develop and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with clients.
* Prepare and review technical documentation for shadow flicker impacts, renewable energy permitting, and public consultation.
* Present at public meetings and appear as expert witness for shadow flicker projects.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for shadow flicker-related inquiries from existing and potential clients.
* Collaborate with internal team or sector leaders, such as the renewable energy group, to expand opportunities and client base.
* Identify and pursue environmental permitting projects, programs and opportunities with a focus on the Midwest Region
* Support client relationship, business development and marketing activities
* Monitor evolving regulations and industry best practices related to shadow flicker and other renewable energy project impacts.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Proven project management experience, including cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement.
* Proficiency in shadow flicker modeling and GIS software applications.
* Strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
* Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or related field (master's preferred).
* 5+ years of experience in wind energy, renewable energy environmental permitting, or impact assessment.
* Experience with USACE, FERC, USFWS and DOTs on NEPA requirements and processes.
* Experience with state and local-level permitting and public consultation processes.
* Experience in managing shadow flicker wind projects preferred.
