**Your Impact**
Key Responsibilities **:**
+ Develops and writes content for WSP proposals, and other marketing deliverables.
+ Provides layout/design for proposals and other marketing collateral through the use of templates, or collaboration with a graphic designer.
+ Serves as an author for proposal content, conveying technical information simply while telling our story, highlighting our strengths, and convey key messages.
+ Provides copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for proposals and other marketing collateral.
+ Gathers information through research, statistical reports and interviews with technical staff to write content for proposals and other marketing collateral.
+ Leverages resources across the firm to support all stages of the pursuit and differentiate WSP to the client.
+ Works with pursuit teams to develop differentiators, value propositions, and key messages.
+ Applies new technologies and innovations across the business for proposals and presentations, including creative media approaches and digital tools.
+ Provides support/guidance to the proposal development and delivery team and ensures the greatest possibility of success by supporting compliance, readability, quality, and sales messaging of pursuit related materials.

**Who You Are**
**Minimum Requirements:**
Experience
+ Open to active-duty members, preferably with a background in technical fields.
+ Must have authorization and approval from a unit commander to participate in the SkillBridge program.
Education
+ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English or other related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in related field

**Who Are You**
+ BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering field. MS is a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience (may include post-graduate work)
+ PE or PE eligibility desired; having an AZ PE a plus

Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Study Manager to join our Mining team in the Southwest USA, based out of one of our offices in Chandler, AZ or Tucson, AZ. The Study Manager is the principal liaison between Stantec and the client during the planning and execution of mining studies. The successful candidate will drive the identification, evaluation, selection, and/or optimization for a variety of mining projects as a key service offering for our diverse client base. You will have the opportunity to successfully steer complex studies through our various clients' stage gate processes, developing and applying robust study management techniques, while leading a multi-disciplinary team across multiple offices.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Understand the client's objectives and study definition guidelines.
* Drive the scope definition and execution planning for each study, working with a multi-disciplinary team to translate the client's objectives and study definition guidelines into an actionable, controllable scope of work and plan of execution.
* Implement study management processes and procedures, including risk and value management, option identification/evaluation/selection, and assurance activities as required.
* Deliver integrated studies on time and within budget, while ensuring alignment between engineering, estimating, scheduling and risk from Order-of-Magnitude / Preliminary Economic Assessments through to Definitive Feasibility Studies.
* Serve as a technical peer reviewer or Qualified Person in the execution of the technical components of the work. Answer questions and give daily guidance and communications to the project team, thus developing the team's technical competence.
* Assist the client with crafting the story of their studies, including engagement with other client stakeholders to present the progress and/or outcomes.
* Understand and implement various stage gate study standard processes.
* Proven Mining Study or Project leadership experience with high emotional intelligence.
* Influential leader, capable of weighing contradicting priorities and securing buy-in on compromise.
* Risk management, commercial awareness, business analysis & reporting, and operational/business knowledge.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Your Opportunity
Stantec's Phoenix-based Environmental Services team is growing, and we have a need for an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic Project Level candidate to join our thriving site investigation and remediation and environmental planning and permitting practice. The candidate for this role is intended to perform field and office tasks associated with project coordination, environmental site assessments, due diligence, and remediation, and may include assignments as part of multidisciplinary teams for assessment and coordination on environmental permitting projects.
The opportunity will include supporting and organizing our ongoing and new projects; coordinating and conducting data collection; coordinating and overseeing subcontractors; conducting research and preparing permits; data interpretation/evaluation; deliverable preparation; project / program tracking; and internal and external communication. The primary focus of this role will be coordination and management of site investigation and remediation efforts at select sites that make up part of a larger portfolio of work, In addition, this role will contribute to environmental planning and technical assessment for permitting opportunities for federal, state, county and municipal projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining and monitoring established project plans.
* Coordinate and help schedule execution of the project.
* Coordinate field activities and subcontractors (such as with laboratories, private locators, and drillers).
* Perform field work, which may include Phase I ESA site visits, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, soil logging, soil sample collection, soil vapor sampling, underground storage tank closure oversight, remediation contractor oversight and operation and maintenance, and asbestos building inspections.
* Represent Stantec by interacting in a professional manner with clients, property owners, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders while on field assignments or participating in public engagement activities such as public open house meetings.
* Demonstrate sound application of established practices, standards and guidelines.
* Complete applicable company- and client-required health and safety trainings (including OSHA required training).
* Strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
* Communicate with client (with oversight from client manager) and determine a path forward for select sites within existing portfolios.
* Oversee the implementation of field projects.
* Prepare technical documents / reports from start to finish, providing a "complete product" for internal to review.
* Research and due diligence permitting support.
* Interact and effectively communicate with team members and collaboratively solve problems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in a project, as assigned.
* Provide administrative support, as requested.
* Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings, with assistance.
* Helping Project Manager with activity tracking.
Qualifications

* Proficient in policies and procedures for HSSE, including client-specific training, and applies these policies and procedures as appropriate to their work.
* Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, good work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship.
* Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time in remote locations.
* Ability to work outside during adverse weather conditions.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Ability to prioritize and balance sometimes heavy workloads to achieve goals.
* Ability to and/or experience with subcontractor management.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with due diligence, complex assessments, and remediation is preferred.

* Ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment.
* Ability to write technical documents.
* Strong research, analysis, and writing skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Current 40-hour HAZWOPER
* 8-hour OSHA Supervisor certification (preferred)
* Current MSHA (preferred)
* Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
* Willingness to build and maintain a productive professional networking relationship within their technical team.
* Experience in data collection and report preparation related to due diligence, site assessment, and remediation.
* Basic understanding of technical impact analysis, public participation process, and various agency guidelines for implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process and related environmental regulations.
* Willingness and ability to travel and stay overnight.
* Ability to work on tight deadlines.
* Good driving record and valid driver's license required.
* Prior to employment, this position may require the successful passing of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Education and Experience
BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related Earth Sciences.
Minimum 5-7 years related experience, or an equivalent combination.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Your Impact:
Provide engineering services in support of planning, studies, analysis, and design of water treatment and distribution systems, as well as wastewater collection and treatment systems, which may include pump/lift stations, wells, chemical feed systems, and storage reservoirs
Primary focus for project work will be the development of engineering studies, design reports, construction documents, and construction oversight/administration related to water/wastewater infrastructure in the municipal and industrial markets.
Develop scope, costs, budgets and schedules for studies, design and construction services related to water & wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations & treatment plant works
Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systems
Setup and perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systems
Work with CAD designers to prepare plans/drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure systems using industry-standard design platforms, such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, etc. Ability to use CAD software is considered a plus
Check design computations and quantity estimates
Assist in client contact and communications pertaining to specific projects
Occasional field work and travel to project sites may be required. Approximately 5% overnight travel
Will work with and mentor junior staff
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
BS degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree. MS is a plus
PE required; AZ PE preferred
10 years + of relevant experience
Demonstrated engineering experience in small or large sized, multi-disciplined water/wastewater projects, including responsibility for client interactions
Proficiency in detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systems
Successful engineering project delivery with respect to scope, schedule, quality, and budget
Senior Engineer positioned to add project management to their responsibilities. Project management experience is a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
Excellent, clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations & prepare written reports
Self-motivated, team-oriented, hardworking, and intent on doing great work
