Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $24.14 to $36.21.

Position Details:
We are hiring a Technical Product Support (TPS) Specialist for our Electrical product support team. In this specialized role, you will assist our customers by telephone by selecting the right product in the electrical and lighting categories, providing post-sales support, and answering product application and troubleshooting questions for a large range of Grainger products.

Job Description:
We seek to hire an experienced Claims Oversight Specialist to join our claims oversight team. The ideal candidate will have experience in California workers' compensation, denying, settling, or authorizing payments to workers' comp claims. In this role, you will be responsible for corresponding with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, etc., to gather important information to support contested claims.
Investigating claims and compiling reports within the given timeframe after receipt of the first injury report
Preparing and delivering claims updates and reviews to internal stakeholders and clients
Strategically handle investigations and tactically tackle issues
Requesting records as required
Notifying the employer of his or her claim determination based on findings
Collecting and evaluating claims and authorizing payments
Keeping in contact with the injured worker and the medical professionals concerning the status of the injury and plans for treatment

The selected candidate will lead the comprehensive evaluation, correction, and rebuild of an existing commercial HVAC system experiencing long-term performance issues. Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a full assessment of existing HVAC systems, including equipment, controls, ductwork, airflow, and distribution
Identify root causes of heating, cooling, and comfort issues across the facility
Develop and execute corrective action plans, including system repairs, upgrades, and replacements
Lead HVAC rebuild and optimization efforts to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel
Coordinate and oversee external HVAC contractors and specialty vendors as required
Support HVAC troubleshooting and repairs while maintaining focus on rebuild objectives
Ensure all HVAC work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
Develop system documentation, including as-built drawings, operating procedures, and preventive maintenance plans
Assist in establishing long-term maintenance strategies to sustain system performance beyond the 12-month contract term
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of eight years of experience in commercial HVAC systems

EPA Universal Certification
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a motivated Product Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will create technical marketing materials and documents for sales, provide training, and offer installation and maintenance support for our HPLC operations. Your focus will be on enhancing product positioning while delivering high-quality, timely support to our customers. You'll engage directly with clients, addressing their needs and collaborating with the Marketing team, Sales, Service, and Regional staff.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide marketing support to the sales team, including developing demonstration strategies and presenting products to potential and current customers
Gather and analyze competitive information for assigned products, reporting findings to the sales team
Create sales support documentation, including feature/benefit analyses and positioning strategies for each assigned product
Conduct evaluations of market needs and propose hardware and software solutions to address those needs
Develop and deliver technical training courses and materials for customers and Shimadzu employees, while maintaining instruments in application laboratories and supporting qualification tests as needed
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a life science field; a higher-level degree is strongly preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in technical applications or method development with HPLC
Experience in maintenance and repair of analytical instrumentation; marketing and sales experience are highly desirable
Strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and a dependable work ethic
Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Shimadzu offers 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3 floating holidays in the first year of employment. After one year, employees are eligible for a generous short-term disability program, which complies with FMLA regulations, with the company covering 100% of the monthly premiums. Employees are insured at 100% of their salary for the first 6 weeks and 66.67% of their salary for weeks 7-12.
The starting salary range for this position is $87,000 to $89,000 annually, with compensation paid on a semi-monthly, exempt salaried basis. Additional variable compensation includes an incentive plan based on company and service performance, paid semi-annually in April and October. A discretionary year-end bonus may also be provided based on overall company performance.
