The Encore Boston Harbor Retail Cashier - Retail will be responsible for ongoing coordination within the Retail Department. Responsible for greeting customers, conducting cash register transactions, gift wrapping, maintaining a clean working environment and assisting guests with their needs. The Encore Boston Harbor Fire Command Center & Maintenance Operator will be responsible for monitoring, testing, receiving, and relaying information, instructions, and work orders to facilities team leaders under standard and emergency conditions. The Operator will receive, record, and report on information regarding work performed (corrective, preventative, or project work), work in progress, requests for assistance, testing of equipment, construction, and fire safety issues. This position responds to all inbound communication in the Facilities Control Center, serving as a primary point of contact for the local public safety issues. The Operator is central to the overall safety and wellbeing of the inhabitants of the facility including both guests and employees. The FCC must be manned 24/7 and never be left unattended. * Repair electrical systems control malfunctions of equipment such as transformers, relays, switches, control, generator monitoring and control systems, medium and high voltage distribution systems and monitoring devices.
* Maintain, repairs, replaces, and installs Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Soft starters, and Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs)
* Works with Contractors and BAS technicians to ensure accurate communications to and from the Building Automation and Energy Management
* Installs new electrical equipment as required.
* Properly uses electric, electronic, and specialized test equipment and other similar tools.
* Performs (with assistance as needed) the maintenance of equipment by cleaning, adjusting, tightening, performing preventative or corrective maintenance and identifying equipment in need of corrective maintenance.
* Writes, submits and completes corrective work orders for approval.
* Initiates purchase orders, coordinates with and directs outside contractors as required to ensure completion of position responsibilities.
* Performs medium and high voltage electrical system maintenance and or supervise outside contractors in the performance of such work including the development of work scope.
* Performs routine generator electrical system test and inspections to the extent qualified and or supervise an outside contractor as required.
* Operates and maintains a power generating facility equipment with minimal guidance or assistance.
* Reads meters, gauges, or automatic devices to record data such as temperature of equipment, vibration of equipment, hours of operation, pressure, and fluid levels, water chemistry to verify operating conditions.
* Keeps Lead on shift fully informed of unusual conditions and current job progress as the job relates to facility operations.
* Uses facility operating procedures and equipment technical manuals to maintain and repair facility equipment and ensure equipment is operated within operating range.
* Fully supports the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System by displaying a proficiency in using the system and dedication to the facility maintenance philosophy. Performs CMMS data entry and work order close-out in a thorough and timely fashion.
* Starts and stops equipment, opens and closes valves in the facility as directed by and in coordination with the lead.
* Opens and closes circuit breakers as required for proper system operation and electrical isolation.

The Encore Boston Harbor Assistant Shift Manager - Public Areas will be responsible for the daily operations of the Public Areas Department. This includes, but is not limited to: implementing the department strategy and supporting the alignment with overall Encore Boston Harbor strategy; maximizing opportunities for departmental success; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.

Knowledge of union as well as non-union working environments preferred.
