Principal Functions and Responsibilities: Performs CT and X-ray procedures in accordance with provider orders and established departmental protocols. Operates, monitors, and maintains CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and safety standards. Prepares patients for procedures and provides clear, compassionate communication regarding the imaging process. Ensures appropriate patient identification, documentation, and safety practices for all procedures. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
