*What you will do:*
Under the direction of the Breast Center Director, the Mammography Technologist performs mammography, breast localization and stereotactic diagnostic procedures in accordance with department ACR and MQSA guidelines.
*Responsibilities*:
* Obtains, reviews, and records patient history form, obtaining complete clinical history pertinent to the procedure.
* Instructs patients as to the nature of the exam being performed, explains procedure to baseline patients, reviews procedure with others.
* Demonstrates accurate positioning according to department and ACR guidelines.
* Assures that films meet department quality control standards regarding patient ID labeling, positioning, technique and overall exam quality.
* Accurately completes all required documentation related to patient care, imaging exams and RIS procedures.
*What you will need*:
* AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital based certificate program)
* Current ARRT registration and NYS license required
* RRT, Mammography registry preferred
*Pay Range:* $33.10 - $48.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

The Medical Imaging Technologist under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head, the manager, and Radiologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of the patients. The Medical Imaging Technologist utilizes their specific modality to create diagnostic images and provide their patients with a safe positive experience. In radiation producing modalities technologists' practice and enforce the radiation safety measures in New York State Department of health code part 16. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains competent imaging skills in practicing modality/s.

Assists Physicians in all aspects of procedures in their assigned area.

Full-time team members work a rotatinghour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
