The CT Tech will perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for radiology and cardiology studies. Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns. Position patients and select appropriate imaging protocols based on physician orders. Administer contrast agents as required and monitor for adverse reactions. Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly. Document procedures and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. Qualifications Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Licensure/Certification: ARRT (CT) certification required; state licensure as applicable. Experience: Previous CT experience preferred; cardiac CT experience is a plus.
