The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Implementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation;
Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies correctly according to Patient First guidelines. Labeling images and sleeves correctly when making these copies;
Understanding the x-ray and processing equipment so that it will be used correctly;
Using and understanding the bell system;
Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork;
Ensuring the safety of patients when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment;
Understanding and using the following: Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Copy Listing, and X-Ray Status Screen;
Understanding and using the automated medical records system;
Cleaning work area, biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines and other maintenance assignments as directed;
Receiving, moving, and restocking ordered supplies;
Adhering to established Patient First policies and procedures;
Addressing physician and nurse requests with respect and in a timely manner;
Completing the tasks listed on the checklists for the x-ray area and treatment area;
Attending training classes and staff meetings as scheduled;
Being available as needed, breaks and mealtimes may be interrupted at any time for patient care and to maintain center operations;
Responsible for the operating, using and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
Employee must be at least 18 years of age;
High school graduate or equivalent;
Keyboarding experience required;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
One year of clerical experience preferred;
One year of clinical experience preferred;
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
New Jersey candidates: Licensed to practice in Diagnostic Radiography by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Develop behavior analytic programming based on formal assessment and observation for assigned clients
Consistently monitor and modify programming based on client performance
Identify formal assessment needs for assigned clients at intake and reauthorization accordingly
Conduct assessments based on client needs/deficits (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABAS-3, Vineland-3, SRS-2, etc.)
Make clinical recommendations based on assessment results that directly address the symptomology of ASD according to the DSM-V
Collaborate with Constellation BCBA colleagues on a regular basis to ensure departmental excellence
Maintain documentation, reports, and data collection for assigned clients
Determine equipment/materials needed for program implementation
Ensure availability of needed equipment/materials
Develop programming materials when necessary
Modify and refresh equipment/materials on a regular basis based on client needs/progress
Request clinical guidance/assistance as needed
Complete reports in a timely and thorough manner according to Constellation Kids policy
Provide direct, one-on-one behavior analytic services to clients when applicable/needed
Supervise behavior technicians assigned to clients on a weekly basis at minimum
Provide supervision quantity based on technician and client needs without exceeding payer approved amounts
Consult with schools and other organizations as assigned
Complete required documentation in a timely manner
Submit documentation to department leadership for review in a timely manner as needed/required
Conduct staff training as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned

Administers sound patient care practice according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure the safety of patients.
Demonstrates radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrates proper technique for injection of IV contrast under the American College of Radiology guidelines.
Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations while demonstrating the initiative for self-development to ensure the proficiency of staff with new technological changes.
Assists physicians in performing a variety of examinations by using standard department protocols, isolation precautions, and/or sterile techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
License: ARRT (R) within 12 months of hire
Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required upon start
Experience: One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology. Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
