As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in alignment with established clinical protocols and industry standards, ensuring accurate diagnostic results and patient safety
What You'll Do as a Rad Tech:
Perform sinus CT scans using our in-house equipment (training provided)
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance through audits and quality control
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team, including physicians, physician assistants, and medical assistants
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining steps and ensuring proper positioning
Manage medical supply inventory and coordinate ordering as needed
Support clinical operations by gathering patient history, rooming patients, setting up exam rooms, and maintaining sterilized instruments
Participate in cross-training to develop a well-rounded understanding of clinic functions; support the MA and PSR team as needed
What You Bring:
Completion of an accredited Radiology or CT Tech program
Registered Technologist (RT) with active ARRT certification
OH State Rad Tech Licensure
Clinical experience preferred
Excellent communication skills with a strong eye for detail
Proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records

Your Role: As a mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a radiologist for interpretation.
Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at various facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
Perform EKGs and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays and computed tomography. The Radiologic Technologist provides X-Ray and CT services.
• Perform X-Ray and CT studies ordered by staff on patients.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Prepares patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient.
• Adjusts immobilization devices, moves equipment into specified positions and modifies equipment controls to set exposure factors.
• Providing explanations of treatment and answering questions for patients.
• Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Follows drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media, administering first aid and using the emergency cart.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Radiology Technician is required including 6 months within the last year.

Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
