We provide a wide range of medical services and procedures, including comprehensive women's services for the Northwest Las Vegas area. In addition to providing digital mammography, gynecologic care and gynecologic surgery, the Women's Center pays special attention to new moms. During their stay, moms enjoy special menus, massages and afternoon teas. The Women's Center maternity services include labor, delivery and recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Qualifications EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months. Experience: 1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates. Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures. License/Certification: Current Nevada Radiation Control License required. ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient. Category I: Job usually involves contact with patients or patient specimens. Exposure to blood, body fluids, nonintact skin or tissue specimens, is possible.
