Certification Details MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) Influenza Vaccine TB Test Job Details Responsible for providing an advanced clinical level of quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. Completing x-rays effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care to provide a remarkable patient experience. Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patient's condition to obtain quality images for radiologists. Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning patients. Explains procedures to patients considering physical and emotional needs. Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation. Maintains pertinent records. Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. May assist Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms. Job Requirements Position requires patient care. Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test. Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15th - April 30th). Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months of start date. Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date. MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
