Mobile Radiologic Technologist The Mobile Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using mobile radiographic equipment. This position involves traveling to various locations, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute cares, rehab hospitals, assisted livings, and patient homes, to provide essential imaging services. The technician will ensure high-quality images are captured while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining strict adherence to safety standards. REQUIREMENTS Earned degree from a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) program. Completed internships with hands-on clinical experience during the degree program. Passed or scheduled to take qualifying exams within the required timeframe for LMRT or ARRT certification. Part-time Description Neighbors Emergency Center: Lubbock Shift: PRN The Radiology Technologist will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocol. The technologist will also be proficient in the positioning of the patient and examining table to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician. Technologist will also practice radiation safety techniques with the ALARA principle in mind, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, to maximize radiation protection to patient and staff.
