*What you will do:*

* Maintains licensure requirements and continuously improves technical skills through

* Monitors processor performance daily through sensitometry procedures.
Maintains accurate patient records and charges.
* Operates properly and demonstrate understanding of all mammography and bone densitometry equipment and computed radiograph, direct radiographs, and PACS.
*Minimum Qualifications: *
* High School graduate or equivalent is required
* Graduate from an accredited school of Radiography is required
* Current continuing education in mammography required
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.
* Ability to function in staff technologist role is required
* Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
* Successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training.

The primary responsibility of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through the provision of technical assistance to the IR team.
Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
Assists the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician.

What you will do in this role:
As a basic X-RayTechnician, you will be responsible for performing all required radiological and lab duties according to providers orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures.
Performs drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests accurately.
Processes specimens for reference laboratories.
Maintains, calibrates and performs controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The CT Technologist works in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting performing a variety of CT Scan imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate the CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

Description
The position is responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. This position provides radiographic examinations on all age groups served by the entity within the scope of the Express Care Center or Outpatient department practice. The Radiology Technologist Express Care works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to coordinate the patient flow in a manner which is efficient, professional, quality and safe for patient care. Job requires the employee to provide front desk duties including registration, deployment of legal, ethical and compliance related documents, collections, phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, X-Ray and lab services as well as other duties assigned to safely treat the patients. Supports all regulatory standards, National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Precautions, Infection Control Guidelines, patient and employee safety principles along with HIPAA policies. Communicates clearly with patient directly and over the telephone regarding medications, education, and counseling, per physician/advanced practitioner direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Medical Assistant & X-RayTechnician will Perform a selected nursing, lab, administrative, and clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a Physician, PA, or NP and concurrent with ChenMed medical protocols and in accordance with policies, practices and procedures and applicable regulations. Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform a brief history, establishing vital signs, recording appropriate documentation and recognizing levels of acuity allowing appropriate medical intervention when necessary.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Promptly greets patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray room.
+ Consistently communicates with patients on wait times; provides direction to the next step in the treatment process.
+ Provides solutions to patient problems and recognizes and seeks help in emergent/ hazardous situations.
+ Positions patient under X-Ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and provides appropriate radiation protection.
+ Administers routine X-Ray exams, assists in physical exams, assists physician in treatment of injured patients by giving injections, changing dressings, or removing sutures under the physicians or nurses directions.
+ Adjusts switches regulating length and intensity of exposure.
+ Prepares reports and maintains records of services rendered.
+ Maintains radiological film files and storage, pulls X-Rays as required for referrals and/or copying.
+ Keeps logs for X-Rays sent out for referrals.
+ Makes minor adjustments to equipment.
+ Performs duties to achieve or exceed established service standards.
**_Other responsibilities may include:_**
+ Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel including procedures, injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and X-rays.
+ Delivers quality customer service and maintains established quality control standards.
+ Shows patients to exam rooms according to company standards.
+ Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.
+ Processes appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion.
+ Respects patient confidentiality at all times.
+ Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments.
+ Maintains quality control standards and required certifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Ability to use MS Office package or similar programs.
+ Effective communication and customer service skills.
+ Fluent in English.
EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
+ One year of employment as a Medical Assistant (recent clinical experience).
+ Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program such as AAMA, AMT (RMA), or NCQT.
+ Experience working with geriatric patients.
+ EMR system experience.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Medical Assistant certification.
**PAY RANGE:**
$24.0 - $34.25 Hourly
The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
