Job Description Part-time, as needed (PRN) position available for a Radiology Technologist to work under the direction of the Georgia Regional Offices Manager. Duties include: operating radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, to include C-Arm equipment; adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of the specified body area; operating equipment at the computer console for storage, transfer, playback data, and generating images; assuring patient safety and satisfaction; positioning patients on examining table; explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtaining patient cooperation and confidence; examining radiology film for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness. Hours are between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. Some variations may occur due to physicians' schedules. Applicants must have advanced knowledge of anatomy, medical terms, and radiology equipment. Position requires successful completion of an accredited radiology program, valid Florida license as a Radiology Technologist, and registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT).
