The Radiologic Technologist operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographic images according to various physician protocols and performs epidural procedures. The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. This role assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Responsibilities Execute complex CT procedures with professional judgment. Collect and document patient clinical histories in PACS. Prepare and review contrast questionnaires with patients and families. Administer contrast media according to physician prescriptions. Communicate with radiologists and referring physicians for appropriate exam verification. Verify insurance and obtain outside studies for comparison. Monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions. Maintain compliance with safety and procedural guidelines, including lifting and standing requirements. Adapt care based on patient demographics and health conditions. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning. ARRT Certified R.T.(R) and NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License required.
