Job Description Now seeking a full time Interventional Radiology Technologist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA. Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following: Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department standard operating procedures (SOP). Arrive, depart, and log completed patients in the command's hospital information system (CHCS). Send appropriate image series to the radiologist for reading via the PACS according to department protocol. Receive patients and explain procedures providing humane and appropriate care and communication to alleviate fear of the examination.
