Xavier University is a mid-sized university which, as one of the nation's up-and-coming universities is growing and improving in numerous ways. Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, Xavier is a traditional liberal arts college that offers bachelor's degree programs in the arts, humanities, math and sciences. Xavier's men's basketball team is particularly well-known, having competed in the NCAA Tournament a number of times.
