In 2015, Xaxis will launch a new suite of platform-agnostic digital performance marketing products with a specific focus on mobile enablement. The VP Global Performance Product Development will own the global product vision for our performance products.
This position reports jointly to the VP Global Product Development - Demand and the General Manager, Performance and is responsible for developing, defining the vision and roadmap for Xaxis' new global suite of performance products.

Qualifications
Responsibilities
Understand existing performance products and develop a vision and roadmap to evolve revenue and clients to a mobile-first cross-device product set
Develop products with a global view across Xaxis' 44+ markets
Create detailed business cases, specifications and maintain an active performance product roadmap to achieve both short and long-term strategic objectives.
Drive detailed product requirements for cutting-edge implementations of a performance solutions stack, both improving on existing offerings and designing new solutions.
Partner with Xaxis Supply team on inventory evaluations, both in terms of media and data quality
Champion clients' needs; ideate and push forward feature enhancements and software development that further support clients' business while aligning with Xaxis strategy
Data Driven: Identify key KPI's to measure and plot their progress as new products and roadmap features are rolled out to markets
Own product commercialization plan, go-to-market strategies for performance product offerings along with associated packaging and pricing, service level agreements etc.
Drive efforts to evaluate application solutions, conduct supporting research in build vs. buy evaluations, and assess partnerships to achieve business goals (coordinated with the global partnerships and corporate development team.)
Identify inefficiencies in processes and propose plans to streamline operations and lower costs without compromising the health of the business
Establish success metrics and assess product performance to promote client retention
Operate effectively in a complex global organization; collaborate with key players within the larger Xaxis organization and GroupM
Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to think and act strategically and the tools and tactics necessary to implement that strategy
Organizational
Responsible for developing a global organization to support the growth of the business
Collaborate closely with regional product managers on local commercialization, marketing/sales, and implementation structure to ensure products are fully developed and operational within markets
Work with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define specifications of features and new performance products
Delivery of Business Outcomes
Accountable for the growth and profitability of a multi-million dollar book of business with a shadow P&L, managing budgets and resources accordingly, in an environment with high expectations for growth and delivery of profit and revenue goals at a global scale.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, marketing, economics, statistics or related technical field is preferred or equivalent entrepreneurial experience
10+ years of product management experience with a focus on performance products, technology and media
5+ years experience in digital performance marketing including mobile, lead generation, affiliate marketing, email, performance display, etc.
Strong technical competence and advanced knowledge of digital marketing technology and platforms, including analytics, supply side platforms, networks, ad serving technology, data management platforms, RTB, DSPs across several digital media channels
Demonstrated success taking products to market and achieving ambitious, quantifiable business objectives
Substantial experience working with broad cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams with ability to influence the opinions of internal constituencies, executives, clients and partners to adopt new strategies and take action

Role Summary and Impact

This position will play a critical role in the expansion of the OpenX business with brand advertisers and global ad agencies at a time of hyper-growth for our company.

Integral Ad Science is currently seeking a Director, Revenue to join our Finance team. The role is primarily responsible for managing revenue and will report to the VP, Global Controller. You will manage the end-to-end accounting, business, and system processes required to analyze, account for, and report revenue recognition under US GAAP. This position manages a team and oversees the monthly close process, internal controls, and process improvements. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in revenue recognition under ASC 606 and a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. This position will have frequent interactions with cross-functional teams within the organization, including FP&A, Billing, Sales Operations, Client Success, and Enterprise Systems.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret contracts to identify revenue recognition implications and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).
Collaborate with sales, client success, legal, and operations to review contracts for complete and accurate revenue recognition, including rebates and other revenue implications.
Manage the monthly revenue close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of revenue.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls over the revenue recognition process to ensure compliance with SOX.
Understand the transactional flow of revenue through various systems to monitor and ensure accurate financial results.
Stay current on changes in revenue recognition standards and assess their impact on the company's financial reporting.
Lead projects around revenue recognition, such as the calculation of standalone selling price (SSP) methodologies.
Lead revenue analyses and preparation of metrics to enhance insights, identify trends, and report to leadership and business partners.
Support audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
Prepare memos and technical accounting support for matters involving revenue recognition.
Accountable for identifying and communicating risks and issues impacting revenue recognition.
Manage departmental projects and process changes in order to improve efficiencies in work processes through automation, where applicable.
Partner closely with billing and FP&A to ensure proper coordination over revenue recognition.
Responsible for driving department goals and vision forward within the team.
Provide review of work of other team members, providing constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching while maintaining positive relationships
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles related to revenue recognition (ASC 606).
Ability to develop goals and the process by which to meet goals based on provided objectives.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
CPA with Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
5+ years of combined experience in private industry and public accounting, with at least
2+ years focused on revenue recognition and managing teams.
Strong background in applying ASC 606, analyzing contracts, and identifying key revenue implications.
Experience in a public company environment, with familiarity working under SOX compliance and SEC reporting requirements.
Experience with revenue recognition in the digital advertising industry is a plus.
Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong Excel skills required and ability to work with, analyze, and interpret large volumes of transactional data.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within a company
Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and operate with a sense of urgency.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location, and any additional locations are listed below. Our pay ranges are based on the work location. As part of IAS compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance (medical, dental, vision) as well as PPO, HSA and FSA options and 401k with employer matching contributions. All full-time employee roles include competitive compensation and are eligible for an annual bonus and/or other incentive plans.
