Minimum Requirements
BS in engineering, construction management or project management or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in theory and practice of project management techniques.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, process management, and process improvement; utility experience preferred.
Experience in process improvement, including process optimization and process mapping.
Experience managing multiple workstreams and matrixed work teams (full and part-time resources) Strong change leadership, communication and collaboration skills

Project Description:

Position Summary:
The Manager of Data Management is responsible for leading a team of both Database Administrators and SAP BASIS Administrators at UGI. The databases included under this position's responsibilities includes but are not limited to are SAP HANA, MS SQL Server, DB2 zOS, DB2 Federated, Oracle and Post Gres. Essential Functions:
Leads, advises and develops team of SAP BASIS and Database Administrators. Provides guidance and support for both staff and contractors to ensure project deliverables and KTLO activities are delivered with quality implementations. Works with Infrastructure and application team leads to drive standard policies and security practices. Collaborates with Team leads and senior personnel to assign work and ensure less experienced personnel are being mentored and growing with respect to their current positions.
Partner with SAP application teams, development teams, Infrastructure/System Admin teams and business stakeholders to understand database requirements for new projects and initiatives. Understand business requirements as they relate to database architecture and design specifications. Provide technical expertise and guidance during project planning, cutover, implementation and back out processing for major project implementations. Assess the database impact of new applications, integrations, and business growth. Develop and document technical solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards. Coordinate database activities across multiple concurrent projects and business units. Assure that database inventory is up to date and software that falls under the team is licensed properly.
Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on database operations, project progress, and strategic initiatives in addition to other KPI (Key Performance Indicators) required. Identify and escalate risks, issues, and resource constraints that may impact project delivery or operations. These should include collaboration with the Cyber Security team to identify high priority vulnerabilities. Ensure patching and maintenance is kept current where possible. Communicate future plans and technical concepts to a variety of audiences both functional and technical. Participate in regular leadership meetings and roadmap sessions.

Review regulatory filings prepared by staff for accuracy and completeness (including, but not limited to, FERC Form 1 and PUC Annual report).
Review filings prepared by other departments (including QROR, DSIC filings, etc.), with particular emphasis on the portions prepared by Plant Accounting.
Process Improvements and People Management:
Directly supervise the Plant Accounting Team
Provide feedback and leadership for their personal development and growth as subject matter experts
Build and maintain a highly effective team
Facilitate process improvements within the Plant Accounting areas, working with IT resources, related groups and with departmental staff to regularly introduce improvements to processes which impact both accounting and field personnel
Prepare analysis for Sr. Management as requested, providing insight into plant accounting and regulatory related items
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
6+ years of accounting experience, with understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance. Preference for utility experience and understanding of utility ratemaking.
Self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to comfortably communicate with and build relationships with Executives.
Demonstrated experience in proactively leading, managing, motivating and coaching a team of accounting professionals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Minimum 6 years experience.
Certifications: CPA or MBA Preferred

Job Summary
The Fixed Assets and Plant Accountant II is responsible for preparing and maintaining records to support the Company's fixed asset (plant) balances. This includes preparation of monthly closing entries, recording of assets and retirements, correspondence with operational personnel related to capital projects, preparation of plant reporting for management and regulatory agencies, and drafting of plant-related budgets and forecasts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monthly Close and Related Processes:
Prepare standard and non-recurring journal entries associated with plant balances.
Prepare accrual journal entries associated with accounts payable.
Complete accruals for capital projects, corresponding with project managers to ensure completeness of capital accruals for the period.
Complete account reconciliations.
Complete and document SOX controls associated with plant process.
Perform fixed asset system close processes.
Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for plant accounts.
Respond to auditor requests associated with areas of responsibility.
Review and input Finance and Operating Leases into the Company's leasing software.
Capital Projects Management:
Monitor outstanding CWIP balances.
Follow up with project managers related to long-outstanding balances, transfers, and unusual adjustments.
Plant Accounting Technology:
Serve as the departmental specialist related to EAA fixed asset sub-ledger.
Work with internal SAP and fixed asset system resources to improve processes associated with creating, unitizing, and retiring capital projects.
Perform testing of revised processes and enhancements for fixed asset system.
Reporting:
Prepare capital-related summaries for monthly finance meetings and quarterly financial statement support.
Prepare capital-related schedules for regulatory reports.
Prepare capital-related schedules for rate case filings.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare annual depreciation and AFUDC budgets (with updated forecasts as requested by management).
Work with outside consultants to evaluate and complete annual depreciation studies and/or service life studies.
Prepare and present ad hoc analysis related to capital items, as requested by management.
Perform other duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of accounting principles associated with plant accounting, including regulatory accounting principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with those at various levels within the organization.
Experience with SAP and/or fixed asset systems preferred.
Ability to independently research and resolve issues, presenting potential solutions to management.
Strong Excel skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.

Position Summary
The Sr. Manager - Customer Experience and Meter-to-Cash (COE) focuses on the improvement of business processes supporting UGI's customer journey, and on the enhancement and evolution of the technical solutions supporting these processes. The Sr Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work executed by functional team members supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality, Meter-to-Cash (M2C) functionality, and Customer Experience (CX) functionality across UGI's customer information technical solutions. In addition, this position is responsible for aligning the team's output with business objectives and strategies, supporting team members in promoting user proficiency and adoption of the technical solutions, validating changes to enterprise solutions, ensuring proper controls over master data, and driving improvements in analytics and leveraging AI integration in support of efficiency gains for UGI.
Essential Functions
Planning and Technical Solution Evolution Roadmap: Collaborates with Business and IT Leaders in defining business needs and developing workplans and roadmaps to support those needs. Supports the prioritization of business requirements, budget estimates, and business case development for major capital investment in technology solutions.
Technical Solution Support: Oversees and monitors incident management activities assigned to COE team members. Supports team members in troubleshooting and solutioning complex incidents and problems.
Functionality Enhancements and Projects: Provides guidance and plans functionality enhancements, upgrades, and solution deployments that maximize and evolve UGI's technology investments. Contributes to the development of work plans and budgets for technology solution changes; identifying opportunities for capital investment.
Quality Assurance: Provides direction for planning QA activities for the technical solution, including functional unit test plans, user acceptance test plans, and usage and data quality monitoring. Monitors the quality of QA plans and scripts developed by COE personnel to ensure complete and accurate testing.
Personnel Management: Manages, coaches, and develops personnel under supervision. Ensures clarity in understanding of roles and responsibilities, and alignment with objectives and workplans. Monitors team member performance and addresses issues early. Maintains and encourages collaboration and positive interactions across members of the COE and with other EBT and IT team members.
