The Technician II, Maintenance is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/or mobile equipment and vehicles, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Maintain computerized preventative maintenance system
Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position. Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations, take appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others in building.

The Manufacturing Technician III, (Packaging Mechanic) reports to a Supervisor or Manager on the Manufacturing floor, which supports Packaging operations. The position entails the execution of setup, changeover, repairs, and preventative maintenance for all equipment used in the production processes in various Classified/Non-Classified areas and performs the role of a Packaging Technician as needed. It requires the ability to perform mechanical and electronic troubleshooting in order to ensure optimal equipment performance. The Manufacturing Technician III will also provide basic mechanical training to Packaging Technicians and serve as a resource for the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
This role will be on the 2-2-3 A Shift 6am-6:30pm
Primary Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance tasks on various packaging equipment
including picker, sorter, labeler, packer, checkweigher, printer, inspection equipment, palletizer,
stretch-wrapper and conveyors. Work collaboratively with technical resources to resolve equipment
issues as needed.
* Act as a first-line technical resource for the team. Provide technical support to production
technicians. Resolve equipment-related issues, including equipment start-up, machine recipe
selection, recipe format set-up, critical sensor challenge, and production issues.
* Proactively monitor equipment and component level conditions, and perform preventative
maintenance tasks. Identify and investigate abnormal conditions and potential defects to prevent
unplanned equipment downtime.
* Perform technician tasks as required including start-up, equipment operation, manual packaging,
batch execution, material handling, rework, cleaning, housekeeping and line clearance activities.
* Operate light material handling equipment (motorized and manual pallet jacks, non-motorized lifts)
as the need arises to safely move, store or deliver material to the proper location.
* Monitor material quality of incoming, in-process and finished materials. Promptly escalate concerns
to Lead Technician and Process Facilitator as needed.
* Perform batch records, GMP documentation, and CMMS entries. Perform mathematical
computation as needed.
* Be familiar with job-related safety procedures and hazards including PPEs, ergonomics, LOTO,
human safety, material handling, chemical handling, and spill controls. Report all discrepancies to process facilitator.
* Perform work requirements in a responsible manner, in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, and
established safety and quality procedures.
Other Responsibilities
* Support lean activities and process improvement work such as performing 5S in the work area,
participating in problem-solving, and manual tracking of performance data for OEE and process
improvement analysis. Lead Level 0 problem-solving on equipment related issues as needed.
* Act as a certified OJT trainer on the team on assigned equipment or process tasks. Train and
conduct evaluations on other team members for training qualifications.
* Review process documents such as operational SOPs, PM procedures, forms and batch records
for accuracy. Identify and provide suggestions for process improvement while maintaining quality
and cGMP compliance as opportunities arise.
* Execute protocols as required as a part of equipment qualification and process validation work
* Be flexible and support other work areas within the Process Execution Team as needed
* Perform all other assigned duties with minimal supervision under the direction of the process
facilitator or designee as needed.
* Acquire and maintain all required certifications and qualifications for the assigned work area
* Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge and aptitude
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Day (A) Shift - 12-Hour Rotating Schedule. 6am-630pm (2 nights on, 2 nights off, every other weekend)
Position Summary:
This position reports to Supervisor/Manager of Manufacturing on the Manufacturing floor, which supports Sterile operations. This position will require working in various Controlled/Non-Classified and Classified areas operates equipment, performs in-process monitoring, line clearances, OEE data collection, cosmetic inspection, cleaning and completes batch record entries in accordance with cGMPs.
Position Responsibilities:
* Perform the duties of operating assigned machinery consisting of ser vicing filling machines with materials, removing finished materials from machine tables, and assuring the smooth flow of product.
* Responsible for assembling, disassembling, operating and sanitizing various Filling equipment.
* Perform and execute filter integrity testing as needed per SOP.
* Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities for assigned areas as required to maintain a cGMP environment.
* Be able to start up and make minor adjustments to machinery.
* Computer on-line may require some data input. This includes SCADA and HMI entries.
* Perform visual and physical checks of in-process and finished materials as requested.
* Work with various printing devices including printing mats.
* Perform batch record and GMP documentation entries.
* Maintain records and/or logs as required in the performance of job responsibilities. This will include mathematical computation where needed.
* Responsible for outgoing quality level.
* Understand aseptic behaviors, media fills including line interventions, and have a basic knowledge of viable and non-viable monitoring equipment.
* Perform inventory control and reconciliation activities, which may require the use of SAP in a limited role.
* Perform work requirements in a responsible manner, in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs and established safety procedures in accordance with OSHA requirements and guidelines.
* Be familiar with "Material Safety Data Sheets" for area chemicals.
* Be familiar with job-related safety procedures and hazards including PPEs, ergonomics, LOTO, human safety, material handling, waste handling, chemical handling, and spill controls. Report all discrepancies to process facilitator.
* Assist mechanical staff with preventive maintenance procedures, as required.
* Support lean activities and process improvement work such as performing 5S in the work area and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), participating in problem-solving, and manual tracking of performance data for OEE and process improvement analysis.
* Assist with executing Validation/Engineering protocols for processes/equipment.
* Identify and provide suggestions for process improvement while maintaining quality and cGMP compliance as opportunities arise.
* Be flexible in training and support other Filling functions as needed.
* Perform all other assigned duties with minimal supervision under the direction of the process facilitator or designee as needed.
* Acquire and maintain all required certifications and qualifications for the assigned work area.
