The Senior Associate, RE Debt Originations job is responsible for identifying investment strategies for both short term, floating and fixed rate loans, and longer term fixed rate permanent loans secured by all real estate product types. This job assists in analyzing, sourcing and originating new debt investments for a number of different investment vehicles for the company.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provides analytic support and loan underwriting to senior commercial mortgage professionals on the debt originations team by modeling cash flows, and conducting financial and credit analysis of properties, locations, markets, borrowers, and other due diligence
Supports senior debt origination managers in the origination of mortgages secured by commercial real estate properties, including during the screening, due diligence and closing process.
Performs ARGUS and/or Excel financial analysis and provides transaction support during originations process.
Contributes to key documentation including credit committee memorandum, loan applications, term sheets and other associated documents.
Performs ongoing market and real estate property specific research.
Develops relationships with sponsors, mortgage brokers and senior lenders.

**Job Summary**
The primary function of the returns specialist is to accurately verify, record and transact all incoming product returns, in an expedient, safe and efficient manner. This includes unloading items from carriers, visual inspection of packaging, transact receipts, unpacking and reboxing, verifying and recording incoming material to support customer returns/RMAs and collaborating with the Customer Care team. This position is responsible for all aspects of RMA receiving for the Technical Service group and includes fostering good working relationships with TSG personnel and the Customer Care department to resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies timely, efficiently and accurately.
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:50am-3:30pm working out of our Costa Mesa, CA warehouse.
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**
+ Work directly with Customer Care team to address and resolve discrepancies with returned product (missing RMA number, incorrect serial number, different model assigned to the RMA or other issues). Holding weekly follow-ups meetings / discussions with key members of that team to work on continuous improvement and further implement lean methodologies into the role and department.
+ Unpack, verify and receive RMA's (return for credit, advance replacement, return for service) for the Technical Services Group based on how they are assigned. Dispose of trash and recyclable materials upon unpacking. This requires having a keen attention to detail to ensure returns are received properly according to the type of return.
+ Ensure incoming deliveries are accurately transacted into proper location depending on disposition. Proactively reporting damages or other issues to necessary internal teams to have so they can be resolved in a timely manner.
+ Unload carrier trucks on a daily basis.
+ Regularly back up department with shipping and packout as needed. Cross train in other areas of the warehouse based on the needs of the business. Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

The role also requires the ability to creatively apply risk engineering knowledge and technologies like data analysis, modeling, and AI to solve problems. This involves offering predefined services and developing customized solutions to meet client risk engineering and mitigation needs. This is a remote position and requires approximately 30% travel for field surveys, client meetings and potential collaboration with underwriting colleagues in zone offices.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
* Independently support large corporate clients or clients with complex business occupancies and structures. Complete on-site field engineering survey assessments and plan reviews for underwriting and insureds, evaluating and summarizing exposures and controls. Complete account level overviews, desk top reviews and risk assessments to support zone and regional underwriting efforts, providing guidance and professional advice to clients and underwriting from both a location-level and a holistic, program-wide perspective. Conduct all work in accordance with Account Service Instructions / Global Standard Operating Procedure requirements and reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives. * This position requires good time management, organization and communication skills with both internal and external customers. The successful candidate must be able to balance field survey and prospect/account review and coordination workload demands, as well as regular meetings and interactions with clients and underwriting. **Job Summary**
QSC is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineering Technician who is interested in audio and video to work in our Q-SYS division. QSC is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of networked audio, video, and control systems. This position is located in the Costa Mesa, California headquarters, and is a full-time hands-on laboratory position that is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
The primary duty of the Senior Electrical Engineering Technician is in-depth testing and qualification of QSC products, with an emphasis on networked audio and video electronics. The technician is also responsible for supporting the engineering staff with prototyping, design troubleshooting, and failure analysis, plus circuit repair and modification. Secondary duties of the Senior Electrical Engineering Technician are test fixture creation and laboratory maintenance.
The Senior Electrical Engineering Technician must have an advanced understanding of electronics and electronic circuit troubleshooting. Experience with Class D audio amplifiers, SMPS power supplies, Power over Ethernet, high-speed networking, and video circuitry is preferred.

Provide direction and support to junior underwriters on new and renewal business.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 5+ years' experience within the Healthcare arena focusing on Hospitals and Allied Health.
Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledge of specialized Healthcare forms, wordings and program structures, (i.e. loss sensitive including self-insured and deductible programs).
Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on collaboration and working well with others
Strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokerage community

**Job Summary**
The Accounting Senior Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records for QSC and Acuity Intelligent Spaces Division (AIS). This role is responsible for month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries and other analysis and reporting.

You will be responsible for assessing/analyzing the desirability of risk by identifying hazards and exposures for new and renewal business.
As a senior member of the team, you will set a high standard of customer service to brokers and clients - providing an example for junior colleagues to follow. You will also provide guidance, mentoring and training to less-experienced underwriters - and support them in building their broker network.
Your relationships with brokers will be key to your success. You will need to provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting. You will also aim to generate new business by expanding your broker network, representing AIG at internal and external meetings/broker events, and building new relationships across the market.
Utilize authority to underwrite and price loss sensitive (deductible/SIR) and guaranteed cost business for the following lines of business: Workers Compensation, General Liability and Commercial Auto Liability
Ability to work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and our value proposition - and to understand the deal structures, terms and conditions and products that best meets clients' needs.
Working collaboratively with home office, distribution, actuary, claims, loss control, premium audit, credit and legal to develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of primary accounts business.
Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines.
Ability to collaborate with other product lines to provide full product support to the client.
Strong relationships with brokers to ensure a desirable flow of new business and to maintain renewal business.
Participating in business travel as required to support client relationships and foster business development.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 7 years experience underwriting Primary Casualty business.
CPCU, ARM, or other insurance designations are a plus.
Proven experience and expertise in underwriting both Loss Sensitive (deductible/SIR) and Guaranteed Cost program structures.
Established relationships with Midwest brokers handling Primary Casualty/Upper Middle Market business.
Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently within a face-paced, team-oriented working environment.
Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
Strong Analytical and quantitative skills; familiarity with actuarial data and pricing models.
Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business.
