Ensure internal records are maintained and up to date. * Negotiate: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality. * Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance, via weekly updates, WIP reporting, and conduct regular on time performance reviews with vendors. * Lead Time Reduction: Lead initiatives to reduce lead time, MOQ and cost, while ensuring uninterrupted flow of production. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and supplier management. * KPIs: Manage and report on departmental KPIs, including cost, vendor acceptance, vendor adherence (OTP), lead time and MOQ.
