The Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist will have different areas of responsibility depending on the environment of which they primarily perform their job duties:
Inpatient education staff will be responsible for the provision of diabetes education primarily in the inpatient setting.
Outpatient diabetes education staff will be responsible for the delivery of diabetes education primarily in the outpatient setting. Individual and group education delivered either in-person or via telehealth will be required. Outpatient educator will also be responsible for facilitating Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) sessions.
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists stationed within the adult Endocrinology offices will primarily educate patients within the practice settings. Registered dietitian credential is required for these roles.
Regardless of the primary location of the role, the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist may be requested to assist at other locations depending on department needs.
Requirements
Education:Associate degree required in health-related profession.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience professional practice experience in Diabetes Self-Management Education required. Minimum of 1000 hours in Diabetes Self-Management Education within the past 5 years preferred.

About this Position:
Our Registered Respiratory Therapists administer all therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical modalities under the purview of Respiratory Care Services, for which the Therapist has demonstrated appropriate proficiency, and has been documented as competent to perform these procedures. , we provide specialized therapy for children and young adults recovering from injuries, neurological conditions, developmental delays, or chronic illnesses. Our physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists treat conditions such as cerebral palsy, brain or spinal cord injuries, orthopedic challenges, speech and language disorders, and sensory processing difficulties. Using individualized, evidence-based, family-centered care, we help children improve mobility, communication, daily living skills, and overall independence.

About this Position:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The PT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, as well as, the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The PT is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The PT is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The Member Services Representative (MSR) provides day-to-day support for credit union members/callers via inbound & outbound services. Requests able to be handled by an MSR will be done in the most efficient manner possible. This position requires taking complete, detailed notes when forwarding a request to a credit union by account tracker or email in a timely manner. The MSRs act as an eXtension of our credit union partners, providing exceptional client service while maintaining a seamless relationship with our credit unions partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Answer and/or triage inbound calls (primarily from credit union members) for timely resolution; provide exceptional client service in accordance with the Rules of Engagement (ROE) for each credit union; forward unauthorized requests back to the credit union, using tracker codes as needed.
2. Consistently verify each caller's identity according to the ROE for security purposes; develop efficient navigation skills through credit union websites & the ROE.
3. Educate credit union members on various items pertaining to their account(s), card(s), functionality and resolving issues.
4. Become comfortable with inbound member service, outbound member service, & completing call backs when necessary.
5. Develop knowledge of standard credit union operation & credit union terms.
6. [MM1] Develop knowledge of CU*BASE Loan Application Processing.
7. Develop knowledge to provide daily Web Chat support for credit union and third-party accounts.
8. Develop knowledge to provide daily support to electronic Bill Pay Systems as needed.
9. Monitor all voice and email mailboxes to ensure member/client requests are processed appropriately.
10. Specialize in CU*BASE and It'sMe247 applications, including mobile app, online forms, and other tools outside of the Phone Operator tool.
