**Core Responsibilities:**

+ Work in industrial, municipal water, and wastewater facilities that may be under construction or already existing and may be required to travel internationally as well as domestically, with some extended stays. Work may exceed eight hours per day.
+ Be responsible for the commissioning of both single water treatment devices as well as entire industrial systems.
+ Maintain standard internal documents and reports, scripting details & updating tasks including managing and separating work done, and work to be done to maintain typical project schedules.
+ Use Microsoft Office suite daily and internal programs such as on-line travel assistants and electronic expense reporting programs (SAP, Concur ideal).
+ Develop a positive and professional working relationship with specialty and union site craft, learn and follow site rules and safety regulations, and use good judgment on behalf of Xylem.
+ Self-driven and ability to work onsite independently as needed.
**Education:**
**High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree preferred, although commensurate** **wastewater commissioning and troubleshooting** **experience will be considered.**
**Qualification:**
+ Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, and hydraulics / pneumatic systems required
+ Working knowledge in the startup and commissioning of wastewater processes like precipitation, neutralization, clarification, microfiltration / filtration, and related infrastructure technologies such as dosing pumps, pumps/motors, VFDs, and potentially filter press technology
+ The ability to troubleshoot instrumentation & use PLC programs and ladder logic is required (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
+ Comfortable working with and around electrical systems and panels rated at 480V, 240V, and 120V
+ Must be able to travel extensively in US and Canada (home every other weekend)
+ Highly experienced with commissioning wastewater equipment, operating and maintaining wastewater treatment machinery & equipment and systems preferred
+ Must have the ability to read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical drawings, P&IDs, installation and/or civil drawings, and the ability to discuss specifics, notes and changes with varied disciplines.
+ General computer skills are necessary in completing daily requirements

Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving associate plays a pivotal role in optimizing lean manufacturing processes. This position will support in coordinating material handling, inventory management, and overall support for lean production. Responsibilities include supplying materials to production workstations, aiding in material handling, inventory control, cycle counts, and facilitating various production tasks, such as packing, painting, and shipping. Additionally, this role assists with documentation, cleanup, and changeovers.
A successful candidate will operate self-sufficiently, with proactive communication skills to ensure timely material delivery to production operators for seamless workflow between workstations.

* Use manual dexterity to assemble small components.

Job Overview:
The Environmental, Health and Safety Multi-Site Manager is responsible for managing and leading the EHS function for the sites under their responsibility, providing strategic and tactical direction, leadership, execution of initiatives, and technical support to advance EHS performance. The position will have direct responsibility for our Lincolnshire, IL Facility, Chicago, IL Facility and St. Francis, WI Facility, supporting the Medical Device Solutions Business (Flexan), an Ingersoll Rand Business.
The EHS Manager will promote the EHS culture and values and drive continuous improvement efforts at the facility. This individual will work collaboratively across functions and provide EHS guidance and support across locations. This individual will also provide guidance, direction and coordination with additional responsibilities supporting the Director of EHS on other sites and initiatives as assigned.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific EHS policies, procedures, and programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, machine guarding, PPE, emergency response) in alignment with company standards; ensure compliance through regular audits and inspections.
* Deliver EHS training for new hires and provide refresher courses for existing employees; lead Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) initiatives to enhance employee engagement and proactively improve workplace safety.
* Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable agencies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, monitoring systems, and managing environmental permits, reports, and recordkeeping requirements.
* Lead incident investigations and corrective actions, identifying root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence; analyze site data to identify trends and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
* Drive continuous improvement and best practices in EHS performance, including initiatives to reduce workplace injuries, enhance safety culture, and support environmental goals such as GHG emissions reduction and resource conservation.
* Manage EHS performance metrics, utilizing leading and lagging indicators to track progress against goals; oversee the safety budget, balanced scorecard, and performance to plan for assigned sites.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration with senior leadership, site leaders, and employees on EHS matters; champion Safety Committee meetings and support employee engagement in key initiatives.
* Oversee EHS Management System implementation, ensure closure of audit findings, support capital projects from an EHS perspective, and maintain facility-specific environmental management plans (e.g., waste, chemical inventory).
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety management in an industrial and service environment.
* 3+ years of experience as an effective leader, motivator and coach.
Competencies:
* Project Management - Review and approve project plans, oversees project execution, balances projects between short and long-term focus, secures alignment with cross-functional partners.
* Problem Solving -Identifies/anticipates potential problems, supports and leads root- cause analysis, evaluates robustness of corrective action plan and oversees plan implementation.
* Relationship Management - Creates collaborative environment with cross-functional partners, assures regular/appropriate two-way communication flow, builds & maintains relationship with employees, peers and suppliers.
* Data/System/Process Management - Effectively utilizes software systems (ie. Microsoft suite, Gensuite, etc.) to enter data, create reports, create presentations or training resources, analyze trends and implement process improvements.
Preferences:
* Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Occupational Safety, Life Safety, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA 30-Hour, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, CSP, CHMM) are a plus
* Lean manufacturing experience preferred

The pay range for this role is $100k - 130k, excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.

What you will do
* Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to electrical and low voltage controls components.
* Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.
* Provide front line technical and repair support through effective communications with Johnson Controls customers.
* Provide system repair and or update recommendations and assist in proposing of recommendations to Johnson Controls customers.

How you will do it
* Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
* Performing commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers as well as end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation.
* Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
* Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
* Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
* Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.
* Execute company sponsored as well as personally initiated training to insure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained.
* Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.
* Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
* Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
* Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
* Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
What we look for
Required
* Vocational School four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or 2+ years experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence and applications.
* Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
* Able to use hand, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multi meter.
* Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication and listening skills.
Pay Range: $39.00-$52.00 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
