The SeniorEvent Planner will serve as project leader on specific events, coordinating teams that plan, implement, and manage all aspects of events. They will initiate and lead meetings with stakeholders to plan scope and format of events, timeline design, vendor sourcing and management, visual and graphic design, establish and monitor budgets, and/or review administrative procedures and event progress.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and support all strategic, operations and logistical activities for meeting and event related projects.
Organize facilities and manage all event details such as lodging, catering, setup, entertainment, transportation, registration, AV, and production technology.
Maintain, report, and forecast meeting budgets.
Use technology to manage the planning processes for meeting, including meeting registrations, approvals, budget and actual spend, calendars, meeting logistics, attendee registrations etc.
Negotiate with vendors to secure contracts, maintain budgets and ensure event needs are met.
Conduct research, find resources and make recommendations regarding event possibilities.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of program/eventmanagement and budget maintenance. Exposure to project planning/forecasting financial implications.

Be an integral part of daily operations & guest services
Report directly to the General Manager
Fully understand the standards of event service, and are committed to teaching/expressing these standards.
Experience and expertise in fine dining service styles including set-up and breakdown.
Responsible for overseeing all scheduling within an assigned department
Maintaining service standards set by company leadership
Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants
Responsible for team performance, morale & productivity
Polished presentation and communication with VIP clients and management.
Completion of Customer Follow-up calls on a timely basis
Give clear direction to service staff, coordinate vendor load-in and set-up
All other duties as directed by Director of Events & Event Operations Manager
Expedite food during events
Follow full event-close procedure & ensure event space is clean & secure, post-event
Financial Responsibilities:
Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability.
Completion of daily, weekly and monthly sales reports
Monitor activities and expenses including inventory and labor
Qualified Candidates Should Be Able To:
Communicate effectively and problem solve
Stand and walk for long periods of time
Delegate effectively
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Required Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or banquet setting.
2+ years of experience in managing luxury Weddings.
Strengths must include multi-tasking, problem resolution, and customer relations.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
Prior knowledge of TripleSeat & Toast POS

As Events Marketing Manager, you'll own the strategy and execution of Profound's flagship event series (Zero Click) along with conference strategy, hosted events, partner gatherings, and industry activations that bring our story to life in the real world.
What You'll Do
Build and execute the global events calendar, spanning owned events, sponsored conferences, and community meetups across North America, Europe, and beyond.
Lead Zero Click end-to-end: from concept and speaker lineup to experience design, brand integration, attendee acquisition, and post-event amplification.
Partner closely with marketing & sales to translate launches, industry events, customer stories, and category leadership into unforgettable in-person experiences.
Manage budgets, vendors, production timelines, and creative partners to deliver polished, on-brand events that scale with Profound's growth.
Develop the measurement framework for event performance, pipeline impact, attendee satisfaction, brand awareness and feed those insights back into future planning.
Create post-event content and campaigns (recaps, thought-leadership pieces, highlight reels) to extend the reach of each experience across owned and earned channels.
Collaborate with executives and customers on speaking opportunities, ensuring our voice shows up consistently and credibly in the broader AI marketing ecosystem.
Who You Are
A creative, highly organized events professional who thrives at the intersection of logistics and storytelling.
You've built and scaled successful event programs, user conferences, customer summits, field marketing activations. Preferably in B2B SaaS or tech.
You're as comfortable shaping strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves day-of.
You have a strong sense of brand and audience - you understand how to make a technical story feel human, ambitious, and magnetic.
You're data-minded: you know how to track ROI, pipeline attribution, and attendee conversion.
Bonus: experience producing or marketing thought-leadership events or category-defining summits; global event execution experience.
Compensation & Benefits
For this role, the expected base salary range is $150,000 - $210,000, plus equity and a full suite of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on your skills, experience, and location.
