The Role: The Channel Account Manager drives the growth of Xylem Flygt products through channel partners (distributors) within their assigned market vertical and region(Northest/Mid Atlantic US). This role collaborates closely with Sales Management and channel partners to take share through the increased sales of Flygt products and digital solutions, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of municipal and industrial markets across the territory. This role will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating machine tools to create products according to engineering specifications, ensuring high quality and efficiency in a manufacturing facility. A Machinist works with a team to contribute to production goals and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts and components while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: * Set up and run production on all machines while managing tool conditions. Follow and develop standard work for setup, inspection, and deburring. * Setup and operate machine tools, including lathes machines, grinders, and CNC machines (CNC Horizontal, CNC Vertical, CNC Turning). Set up and operate at least three categories of machines (manual machining, turning centres, Lathe machines, Lathe machines, grinders, etc). * Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. * Operate machines to manufacture parts, following detailed blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. Identify and report defects or issues in the machinist process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality. * Perform routine maintenance on machine tools to ensure they operate effectively and safely. Report any significant machine malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the supervisor. Troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues, making minor repairs or adjustments. * Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job setup, run times, and material usage.
