Overview:
The Senior Executive Assistant will serve as the direct administrative assistant to the Dean of the School of Music, aiding the Dean in the performance of all functions. Position Focus:
The Senior Director of Strategic Advancement Communications is a member of Yale Law School's Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) team and oversees all communications in support of alumni engagement, volunteer engagement, donor engagement, recognition, and fundraising. The Senior Director will plan and execute communication strategies and produce messaging and materials that accelerate engagement and giving using print, digital, and social platforms. Overview

Overview
The Portfolio & Grant Analyst will be responsible for the financial management, proposal development and stewardship of a portfolio of grants and contracts for the MD/PhD program, its students, and its faculty. The Analyst will also oversee the reconciliation of external fellowships, grants, and department accounts; prepare budgets and expenditure projections for program director, associate directors, and YSM financial operations review; and maintain and analyze data pertaining to proposal development and grant awards.
Reporting to the Associate Director for Program Administration, MD/PhD Program, the position is responsible for submitting annual progress reports and competitive renewals of the Medical Scientist Training Program T32 (NIH) and BioMed SURF Amgen program funding, as well approximately 25-30 fellowship applications for each of the 3 yearly NIH deadlines. Plan, organize and prioritize actions across multiple awards and investigators' portfolios. Ensure appropriate charging of expenses and integration of data. Advise and counsel principal investigators on financial issues and recommend alternative spending strategies, manage renewals, extensions and closeouts of grants, including final financial reporting to the sponsor.
Analyze and negotiate budgets, contracts, and terms and conditions of research proposals.
Work with the Director and Associate Director for Program Development and Assessment to collect data, organize materials and prepare annual non-competitive reports and competing renewals (which occur every 5 years) for T32 funding and other funding program applications. Overview
Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean for Spiritual Formation oversees all YDS initiatives related to student spiritual formation including denominational programs, worship, and programming intended to develop students' faith and self-growth. The associate dean oversees curricular internship programs and community volunteer opportunities for students as part of their development. The student portfolio and review process is managed by the associate dean as a way of tracking and monitoring student growth. Worship
Supervise the heads of Marquand chapel and ensure spiritually meaningful and academically enriching worship services. Ensure that all worship spaces are programmed appropriately for student development. Foster collaboration among denomination leaders and chapel staff.
Internships
Hire and supervise the directors of the internship program. Ensure continued placement opportunities for our students and help to develop new partnerships. Support the creation of volunteer opportunities in the New Haven community for our students.
Evaluation and Assessment
Maintain the online portfolio process and supervise the student employees who manage the software. Meet with all students to review their individual progress on meeting their vocational goals. Connect the online portfolios to the work being done in the integrative seminars. Convene mid-degree consultations with all M.Div. students in their second year of study. Collect employment data on each graduating class. Collaborate with the registrar and degree program directors on the annual degree assessment process.
Outreach to New Haven Area Faith Communities

Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS, ******************************* is the premier summer academic enrichment and leadership development program of its kind for talented high school students from around the world, and is administered by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Yale. Enrolling approximately 2,000 high school students through a highly competitive application process, YYGS participants represent more than 150 countries and all 50+ U.S. states & territories. The program offers nine (9) sessions on Yale's campus in STEM, social science, and cross disciplinary fields. The program features inspiring Yale lectures, and over 150 dedicated undergraduate, graduate, and professional school student instructors leading small group discussions, teaching their own unique seminars, and supervising collaborative projects. Reporting to the YYGS Director, the Assistant Director of Administration is responsible for a range of core administrative functions of this program, including (but not limited to) overseeing all hiring processes (such as temporary/seasonal staff, application reviewers, student workers, and routine FTE needs), completing reviews of all domestic need-based financial aid requests from students and providing recommended packages and installment payment plans, timely and thorough processing of all expenses (such as marketing and CBO/NGO partner invoices, purchase orders, spend authorizations, and cash deposits), setting up faculty extra compensation arrangements as honorarium payments to Yale faculty who serve as YYGS Lecturers, processing FlyWire refunds as needed, planning for and managing large supply orders (e.g., YYGS swag, office needs), and completing monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate budgeting is maintained. Overview
In 1971, Yale University established Yale Health to provide health services to its faculty, staff and students through a multidisciplinary health maintenance organization located on campus. Yale Health has more than 49,000 members including students, staff, faculty and their families who come from every state in the country and almost every country in the world.
Our state-of-the-art facility at 55 Lock Street, is where our members receive most of their care from our 150+ providers. It is a 144,000 square foot medical facility with over 90 exam rooms, an Acute Care Department, a 15-bed inpatient facility with two negative pressure rooms, a diagnostic imaging suite including MR and CT scan, x-ray and ultrasound and a full-service retail pharmacy.
Yale Student Health (SH) provides primary care to all 6000 undergraduate, and 7500 graduate/professional students and their spouses. We work closely with Mental Health and Counseling, consisting of over 30 clinicians, Acute Care, and the Infirmary and Hospital rounding teams. We also collaborate with our patient educator, SHARE (Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Education), and a team of nutritionists. Access to multiple on-site subspecialties, the pharmacy, diagnostic radiology, and laboratory rounds out our ability to provide comprehensive and timely care.
Advanced Practice Practitioners in the Department of Student Health are expected to provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care using evidence-based medicine. We are interested in candidates who prioritize collaboration and professionalism, and who can readily apply their education and experience to the care of our unique and talented, highly intelligent student population. An ability to easily communicate with, and teach, people from all walks of life is imperative. Practitioners are expected to stay abreast of changes in clinical guidelines, and best practices, and are encouraged to regularly attend national conferences with a goal of bringing back information regarding cutting edge research and expert knowledge to the group. Practitioners are also expected to serve as resources for our RNs and medical assistants.
Responsibilities include:
* Obtain and fully document detailed and appropriate histories and physical exams.
* Collaborate with students in the formulation of a differential diagnosis and plan of care and execute care in a timely manner.
* Maintain professional, clear, and regular communication with consultants and students regarding plan of care.
* Assist students with navigation through the specialty clinics, and the hospital system, particularly when the students are waived.
* Communicate with Yale New Haven Hospital personnel, Infirmary staff, Yale University Deans and Heads of College, and parents regarding individual patients when appropriate.
* Maintain clean and up-to-date charting, including closing encounters within 24 hours, answering all MyChart messages within 48 hours, and sharing and explaining all lab and radiologic study results with students within 48 hours of availability.
* Assist in coverage of duties when colleagues are out.
* Participate in late and weekend hours.
This is a 10 Month Fixed Duration Position
Schedule: Full-time, 37.50 hours, 5 days a week, generally scheduled M-F, between the hours of 8:30 - 5:00 pm. Early morning, evenings, weekends, holidays/recess periods may also be required. Participates in late hours rotation during the academic year.
Required Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong oral and written communication skills for telephone, email, and personal contact. A pleasant, helpful attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure and enjoy customer service.
2. Consistent practice of evidence-based medicine.
3. Independent and confident decision-making while recognizing when consultation is necessary.
4. Proven reliability with clinic attendance and punctuality.
5. Proven proficiency with use of an electronic medical record.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Proven experience with college health.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Examines patients to collect information about their physical condition. 2. Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination. 3. Conducts complete physical examinations; provides medical evaluation and treatment to patients; develops treatments plans and monitors patient's progress. 4. Advises patients on results of laboratory tests and recommends referrals to specialists or other medical facilities. 5. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, counselors and other medical staff to provide the best medical care. 6. Provides preventive health practices to patients to maintain and improve health and prevent illness. 7. Coordinates patient care including ordering of laboratory tests and radiographic studies. 8. Prescribes therapy or medication with physician approval. 9. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience Graduation from a Physician Assistant (PA) Training Program accredited by the American Medical Association Council on Medical Education or Master's Degree from an accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner program. Required License(s) or Certification(s) CT APRN license (or eligible) with ANA certification OR CT PA license (or eligible). Prescriptive privileges (or eligible) in the State of Connecticut, federal DEA license and CT DCP license for prescription of controlled substances. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the work involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, and occasional slight lifting. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds when transferring a patient from chair or wheelchair to exam table and turning patients for examination. Proper body mechanics must be used when maneuvering patients.
