Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the Student Nurse Intern will perform unlicensed clinical skills and provide environmental support to the unit. Students will NOT prepare or administer any medications, prepare, initiate or administer any IV or arterial therapy, prepare or administer blood or blood components, or accept physician or LIP orders. Students will work with RN preceptor/mentor on all designated activities.
