What You Will Be Doing: As the Inside Sales Support for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting our customers with review of specifications and creating quotes based off of that information. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries, orders, and support. Generate quotes and process purchase orders. Provide technical product information, including specifications, lead times, and pricing. Track sales activity and customer communications using D365 software. Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential customers through market research and outreach. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. Facilitate new order handovers to Project Management and Engineering. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with two to three years related experience and/or training in Account Management, or other Customer service positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in an internal sales or customer service role, preferably in the power rental or equipment rental industry. Required Qualifications/Skills: A strong understanding of sales, customer service, and rental business processes. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a diverse set of responsibilities effectively. Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail and the ability to self-motivate. Professional demeanor when interacting with both internal and external contacts, displaying courtesy and persistence. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn company-specific systems (e.g., Cat systems). Knowledge of Microsoft D365. Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships, demonstrating sound professional judgment and decision-making. Numerical competency to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, percentages, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to apply policies, procedures, and guidelines. Influence, negotiation, coaching, and counseling skills. What You Will Be Doing: As the Sales Support Specialist for the Electric Power Generation (EPG) group, you will manage the quoting of the large EPG projects to ensure proper quoting and coordinator of all aspects of the project to meet Yancey's financial goals. Primary Responsibilities: Always prioritize customer care by consistently delivering exceptional service. Effective communication skills are needed to help the sales team offer customers the best retail experience. Basic knowledge of reading requests of quotation to determine the scope of work needed. Processing quotes for the Sales team which includes getting quotes from vendors through Caterpillar and Yancey systems. Utilize the CRM system to identify potential project leads and refer them to the sales team. Before sending the lead to the sales team, the Sales Specialist is responsible for contacting the prospect to vet the opportunity and obtain all necessary information to quote it. Follow up on all outstanding quotes to determine the won/loss status. For all independently quoted opportunities, the Sales Specialist is responsible for submitting the won quote for final approval and then coordinating with the operations team for a project hand-off meeting. It will be the Sales Specialist's responsibility to track job status up to the point of completion. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Your computer skills should include ability to use Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college / university or related equivalent experience preferred. Required Qualifications/Skills: Computer skills including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Must comprehend, speak, and write the English language. Job Description: As the Hydraulic Sales Representative (HSR) you will sell hydraulic parts and repair services to an assigned group of customers for proactive and reactive maintenance. The business is focused on non-CAT mobile machinery as well as stationary industrial equipment in industries such as pulp & paper processing, metal recycling, lumber mills, manufacturing and many others. Conduct an agreed-upon number of customer calls/visits each week with a planned sales objective for each call. Maintain customer call activity, opportunity pipeline and call notes in the CRM tool. Promote external and internal customer relations and good will by investigating customer concerns, researching and providing justification material when required, picking up and delivering parts and components, maintaining communication with service coordinators to ensure timely turnaround on repair work, and other related activities. 40% - Perform site audits, inspections and hydraulic hose/component surveys of customer equipment, and prepare service-related proposals as required 20% - Travel to stores in assigned territory to perform training, product knowledge learning sessions and commercial/sales related activities Education/Experience: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. The Sales and Leadership Training (SaLT) Program at Yancey Brothers Co. is a dynamic, full-time opportunity designed to prepare you for a successful future in our organization. Offered twice a year with flexible start dates, this 12-week, rotation-based training program is ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and lead. As a Sales and Leadership Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience across our business divisions through a structured blend of in-person and computer-based training focused on sales and leadership fundamentals. Throughout the program, you'll participate in job shadowing, on-the-job learning, and rotational assignments that expose you to multiple departments and functions within the company. You'll also attend interactive classroom sessions and engage in leadership development activities that strengthen your skills and broaden your understanding of our organization. From day one, you'll be assigned a “home base assignment” where you'll begin to build specific job skills while immersing yourself in Yancey's culture and core values. You'll have the opportunity to connect with team members at all levels of the company, gaining insight into their roles and responsibilities as you explore different areas of the business. Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition full-time into your home base assignment, officially becoming a SaLT Alumni. This entry-level position is designed to be the launchpad for a long and rewarding career at Yancey Brothers. Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for candidates that have prior experience working/volunteering in sales, retail, management, or customer service type roles. Good communication skills, desire to learn and a willingness to listen will be essential for maintaining relationships with your customers and fellow coworkers. You should possess a sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work both with a team and independently is essential to this position as well. SaLTs will be required to travel periodically to our Austell, GA location for SaLT Program meetings, trainings, and site visits. Yancey Brothers Co. provides hotel accommodations as needed and reimburses mileage to support this travel Education/Experience: College degree or related equivalent experience. Long-term interest in future sales and leadership opportunities with Yancey Bros. Co. is preferred. Required Qualifications/Skills: Demonstrated success in prior work/volunteer experience Ability to use judgment and creativity in applying solutions to business concerns High energy and strong work ethic required.
