Summary/Objective The Yard Manager manages a small team, ensuring smooth operations and upkeep of the stone yard while working in a fast-paced environment. This is a working manager position, and thus the Yard Manager operates a variety of equipment, including forklifts and skid steers. Additionally, the Yard Manager is responsible for organizing various types of stone, maintaining the cleanliness of the property, shipping and receiving, and assisting customers. Requirements Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside-weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and risks of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
