Summary/Objective The Yard Specialist operates a variety of equipment, including forklifts and skid steers while working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Yard Specialist is responsible for organizing various types of stone, maintaining the cleanliness of the property, shipping and receiving, and assisting customers. Summary/Objective The Yard Specialist operates a variety of equipment, including forklifts and skid steers while working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Yard Specialist is responsible for organizing various types of stone, maintaining the cleanliness of the property, shipping and receiving, and assisting customers. Assists customers with the loading and unloading of materials. Completes shipping and receiving of materials. Greets customers and provides appropriate guidance. Operates construction or power equipment, such as skid steers and forklifts. Occasionally operates small equipment such as blowers and hand tools. Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment. Requirements: Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside-weather conditions.
