Some of your critical responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of Veteran clients.
Develop housing plans and budgets with the household and assist in connecting Veterans to resources in order to maintain or obtain permanent housing.
Assist with increasing veteran household income and prepare the Veteran family to be able to independently maintain housing and become financially independent alongside our VOAMASS integrated services team.
Conduct assessments and coordinate services/referrals with VA Medical Centers and other community agencies.
Assist household in applying for housing and subsidy applications, Veterans Administration, Social Security, and other state/federal benefits.
Maintain regular communication with Veteran household and community partners involved.
Help identify and remove barriers to permanent housing and complete housing inspections for prospect units.
Provide education on basic tenant rights & responsibilities.
Participate in individual supervision, team meetings, internal and external program audits, trainings, and other professional development.
Follow professional standards and ensure that all services are documented and maintenance of persons served records is completed.

About This Position
Mass Audubon is seeking a Property Manager IV. This position is responsible for a wide range of property management duties that support both day-to-day and long-term management of Mass Audubon's wildlife sanctuaries on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. This includes the training and supervision of property staff and caretakers, direct and indirect maintenance and ecological management of five wildlife sanctuaries, supervision and care of buildings, animal care, regular communication with abutters, visitors, and contractors, and project management.
As a member of the Southeast Region, the Property Manager IV is involved in both annual and strategic planning for the region as well as long-term project management. This position may also serve on various Mass Audubon committees to provide support and/or input on statewide initiatives.

Property Management
Ensure the maintenance and security of properties by:
developing, maintaining, and evaluating a schedule of priority tasks that must be completed at all sites;
assisting the Islands Sanctuary Director and land protection staff in addressing sanctuary defense issues;
procuring, directing, monitoring and evaluating the work of contractors and consultants;
ensuring that all property boundaries are identified, posted, and monitored;
establishing and supervising tasks that are addressed by other property staff and volunteers to ensure their timely and cost effective completion throughout the region.
Maintain grounds and property by:
mowing, raking, trimming, pruning, cutting and removing trees;
constructing and maintaining trails, roadways, and parking areas;
shoveling, sanding, and plowing snow;
constructing and/or repairing fences, cages, and signs;
working on special projects, as needed, including responding to storm-related damage and/or the property management needs of other Mass Audubon sanctuaries.
Maintain buildings and other structures by:
painting and other tasks required to maintain buildings;
performing carpentry duties;
cleaning gutters;
winterizing buildings and systems;
performing emergency repairs;
assisting with minor plumbing, electrical, or mechanical repairs;
overseeing regional UpKeep database entries and ensuring they are up to date for all facilities and systems.

Prepare written reports, proposals, and plans for property management projects as required.
Monitor and evaluate safety needs of wildlife sanctuaries within the region and assist and participate in safety related training for sanctuary staff.
Supervision and Budget Development
Supervise property staff and interns by:
making recommendations on routine employment decisions to including hiring, and performance;
assigning work, providing training, and advising staff and interns as necessary;
resolving routine human resources and property issues.
Recruit, hire, train, support, and evaluate all Islands property staff and caretakers.
Encourage staff growth and professional development through ongoing workshops and trainings in the region.
Work with Operations staff, Regional Director, Senior Regional Director, and Senior Conservation Ecologist to prepare a property management annual plan and operating budget for sanctuaries and other managed properties.
Attend required meetings, including monthly Property Leadership meetings as needed and serve as part of the regional management team as needed.
Community Relations
Represent Mass Audubon in the local community in a positive and constructive manner, expanding its presence to increase local support, and maintain routine contact with neighbors, town officials, and representatives.
Work with Volunteer Coordinator to plan for and implement individual and group Volunteer Workdays.
Provide efficient and courteous service to the public by offering information about the site to visitors and responding to other visitor service requests.
Site-Specific Responsibilities
Care for animal ambassadors and their habitats at the Nature Center and ensure best practices with their care.

Call volume is variable but is usually 4-6 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.

Provincial Preschool Autism Services
The Provincial Preschool Autism Service (PPAS) is a partnership between IWK Health (IWK), Nova Scotia Health (NSH), Hearing and Speech Nova Scotia (HSNS) and Autism Nova Scotia (Autism NS). It provides person and family-centred services to preschoolers across Nova Scotia who are suspected of or have a diagnosis of autism. The goal of the service is to provide an efficient, sustainable, and integrated continuum of health services that follows a needs-based model responsive to the individual needs of children and their families.
Services include a range of interventions and supports available for children and families. Service streams include:
Clinical intake and care coordination
Family and health professional education
QuickStart NS parent coaching toddler program

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Provincial Preschool Autism Services, the PPAS Clinical Interventionist is part of an interprofessional team with a provincial service delivery mandate. The role provides services to preschool age children (ages 0-6) with autism and is responsible to facilitate a goal setting process with families related to their identified needs for their child; to provide assessment related to the goal(s); and to develop, implement and coordinate the resulting intervention programs. The Clinical Interventionist will contribute to and participate in family education; will work within a variety of intervention frameworks that include but may not be limited to a 12-month intensive intervention model (EIBI); a manualize caregiver mediated program; and focused interventions guided by care pathways. Clinical Interventionists will provide direct supervision to Program Implementers who will be part of the implementation teams for the 12-month intensive intervention model, the manualized caregiver mediated program and part of the implementation for focused interventions as appropriate. Clinical practice will be guided by Clinical Leaders and an Autism Advanced Practice Leader.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week.
Flexibility in hours available to work (including some evenings, weekends) required.
Your Qualifications
Master's in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Board-certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
Registration or eligible for registration with the appropriate professional body in Nova Scotia is required.
CPR certification within the last 12 months and certification in First Aid.
Two years recent experience working with children with autism (ages 0-6 years old) and their families.
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in intervention for children with autism.
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care; ability to provide assessment and development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of intervention plans to address parent goals.
Demonstrated ability to work within an interprofessional collaborative practice framework; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We are seeking a Program Specialist to help with youth and family public and group programs both on-site and off-site at Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary on Martha's Vineyard. Our youth and family programs engage all ages, and our programs align with state and national science standards and encourage exploration, collaboration, and inquiry.

Responsibilities
Management
Plan, coordinate and market programs according to Mass Audubon standards and practices
Maintain accurate records of programs, program participants, and education files according to Mass Audubon policy, state regulations, and accreditation standards, as appropriate
Education
Develop and implement lessons and activities for specific audiences and/or focus areas with demonstrated skills in culturally responsive teaching and learning as well as universal design for accessibility
Prepare and conduct activities for community engagement activities, events, and other related educational activities; work in collaboration with Statewide Education Managers to ensure program alignment and best practice
Implement program evaluation tools according to Mass Audubon guidelines and practices
Maintain updated curricula, instructional materials, educational supplies, and resources
Maintain the safety of all participants and staff as a priority
Serve as a trusted resource on natural history, legislative priorities, conservation science issues including climate change and biodiversity for visitors, program participants, other staff, and volunteers
Assist in the development of educational programs and activities outside of specific area, as needed
Marketing and Public/Community Relations
Represent Mass Audubon's mission, programs, and conservation priorities to visitors, program participants and members of the community
Other
Attend regional staff meetings and actively participate in statewide education staff meetings, audience professional learning communities, and professional development trainings as required
Support membership development and fundraising, as requested by Regional Director, Education Manager, or Regional Development staff member

Must Haves
Bachelor's degree in education, biological, earth science, environmental studies, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years' experience in conducting educational programs; or Master's degree in education, biological, earth science, environmental studies, or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work well with staff and volunteers
Strong communication skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to relate to a diverse range of people and exercise cultural competence and inclusion
Ability to establish inclusive and welcoming Mass Audubon presence in communities where we implement education programming
Requires First Aid and CPR certification upon hire
Strong Swimming and Kayaking abilities

Compensation, Benefits and Perks
This position's pay range is $23.50-$25.00/hour; actual salary will reflect level of experience and qualifications relative to position requirements. This is not a benefits eligible position.
Work Schedule
This position begins on June 10, 2026 and ends on October 2, 2026. Variable hours, typically 25 hours per week, Monday-Saturday. Tuesday evening program availability and some other variable evenings and weekends as needed may be requested.

Employees must successfully complete a CORI and SORI Background Check and a Motor Vehicle Record (if applicable) is required.

Nurse Full Time AFC/SL

As a member of the nursing and care management team, provides nursing services to facilitate the screening of new foster homes and participants; assists with matching and placement services and maintains services to participants, as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
Provides oversight to caregivers in nursing care of participant; coordinates participant care with local home health agencies; educates, supervises and evaluates caregivers in care of program participants; participates in ongoing supervision of participants in homes via regular outreach visits.
Provides professional nursing services within established department policies and procedures.
Screens and assesses referrals for services in conjunction with case management staff; obtains approval for referrals assessed to be appropriate. Operates within the scope of professional nursing ethics and practice.
Develops a care plan for participants; reviews plan of care with the participant and caregiver; provides ongoing evaluation and revision semi-annually or on an as needed basis.
Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of home caregiver training sessions.
Records and maintains accurate and timely case records.
Prepares and submits detailed documentation for Adult Foster Care consideration; meets with guardians, doctors and relevant parties, as needed.
Prepares and submits individual service plan (ISP) goals and assessments for individuals funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
Provides on-call coverage on nights and weekends, as scheduled.
Maintains professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
Provides consultation to management with respect to health care policies for the program.
Serves as a mandated reporter of suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC).

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Registered Nurse licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years prior nursing experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled adults.
Must be compassionate and patient.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
