Job Location: Yakima Salary: Non-Paid Internship Position Overview The IT Intern will support the Information Technology team by assisting with the configuration and user support of hardware systems and software, including but not limited to CaseWorthy case management software and Adobe application programs, as well as Office 365 programs. This internship provides hands-on experience with enterprise software systems, document management, and end-user support in a professional environment Essential Functions 1. Provide first-level technical support to staff, including responding to help desk requests and documenting issues and resolutions. 2. Collaborate with the IT technician on daily helpdesk tickets and our requests. 3. Assist with the configuration and basic troubleshooting of CaseWorthy case management software. 4. Support users with Adobe applications (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) including document creation, editing, and workflow support. 5. Create and update user guides, documentation, and training materials. 6. Follow organizational IT policies, data security standards, and confidentiality requirements. 7. Other duties as assigned. Requirements SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Demonstrated experience in a professional office setting, including working in a busy office setting with a high volume of calls, public contact, and public speaking. 2. Strong working knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. This includes virtual software such as zoom and Microsoft Teams 3. Knowledge of various office machines such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and postage machines. 4. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. 5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. 6. Demonstrated ability to utilize sound judgment, work effectively and calmly under pressure, and maintain high level of confidentiality. 7. Demonstrated experience working in a confidential environment that deals with multicultural clientele, experience in relating to a wide variety of people, and the ability to remain calm when dealing with upset people. 8. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 9. Able to demonstrate a genuine concern and respect for all cultures and diverse populations served by OIC.
