We are currently looking for a Project Services Intern for our Houston, TX office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Project Services team, supporting initiatives that enhance project execution and operational efficiency. This role will focus on data analysis, process mapping, project reporting, and minor improvement initiatives to drive better decision-making and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and visualize project performance data.
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, etc.
Process Mapping & Improvement
Document current workflows and identify bottlenecks.
Create process maps using Visio or like applications.
Recommend improvements for efficiency and standardization.
Project Support
Assist in preparing scopes of work and project documentation.
Support minor initiatives related to project execution and compliance.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in process improvement workshops.
Contribute ideas for automation and optimization.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint
Knowledge of process mapping tools (Visio).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma principles.
Basic understanding of project management methodologies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Use drain and sewer camera equipment to inspect and evaluate plumbing systems
Identify problems like root intrusion, collapsed pipes, grade issues, or pipe deterioration
Communicate findings clearly to customers and offer practical repair or replacement options
Recommend services such as hydro-jetting, pipe repair, or trenchless solutions
Record inspection results with detailed notes and reports
Keep all camera and locator tools in working condition with regular maintenance
Collaborate with service and installation teams to complete jobs efficiently
Follow all safety procedures and local plumbing codes

Active Texas Tradesman Plumber License or higher
3-5 years of plumbing experience, including work with camera inspection equipment

Willingness to participate in a rotating emergency call schedule
