Under general supervision, coordinate and conduct general electrical repair work and troubleshooting, perform preventive maintenance, installation services and construction work in accordance with safety standards and fire codes. This position works 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM in a critical data center facility.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as automatic controls, emergency generators, switchboards, transfer switches, lighting systems, fire alarms and smoke detection systems.
Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical problems with a wide variety of electrical equipment, replacing defective parts, reassembles effected equipment and tests for proper operation and safety.
Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled or required on all types of electrical equipment as recommended by the manufacturer and on site safety programs.
Maintains necessary work records including equipment records, logs, and time sheets.
Reads and interprets electrical schematics.

Qualifications
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years related work experience to include industrial environment
Licensed E-2 Electrician
Working knowledge of electrical systems
Ability to read and comprehend complicated blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks
Must be familiar with the National Electric Codes, electrical theory, and be comfortable working with high voltage three phase circuits, generators, transformers, switchgear
Ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
Must have a current valid driver's license
Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications used for compiling data and work records
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $58,240 to $70,720 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. Working Conditions: Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
