Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced Foreman / Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in mentoring others, coordinating field operations, and delivering exceptional work quality. You'll play a key role in the successful execution of plumbing installations on commercial and industrial projects across North Texas.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Supervise and coordinate plumbing crews to ensure productivity, quality, and safety on job sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute installations.
Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and related equipment for water, gas, drainage, and other plumbing systems.
Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to meet project timelines.
Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced plumbers.
Maintain accurate records of materials, hours, and project progress.
Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
Current Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License (required).
5+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience.
1-3 years of experience in a foreman or lead role preferred.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes, drawings, and schematics.
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple trades.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Job Description
Better Service Inc. is currently looking to fill 2 plumbing positions. These are long term, full time positions in our plumbing department for service calls all over the Kansas City, MO and KS metro area. Mainly residential but some commercial. Competitive weekly pay and company van is provided. Paid vacation after time requirements is met and medical, vision and dental offered.
Requirements:
Plumbing technicians will need a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting, problem solving, installing, repair and maintaining.
Must have experience in hot water heater service and installation, snaking drain lines, running supply lines, installing/repairing faucets, cartridges, running PVC, running PEX, sweating copper, installing/repairing shower valves, bathtubs, sinks and toilets.
Must have the ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm but also be available some overtime when and if needed.
Have the ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
Must have your own basic hand tools.
Valid driver license.
Must be customer service oriented.
Hourly pay is $15.00-$25.00 plus some overtime. Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Rough-In Plumbing: $18-$25/hourly - negotiable based on experience!
• Read blueprints
• Familiar with local codes
• Capability to be able to dig/trench
• Operate machinery - excavators and bob cats
• Familiar with wastewater, vent and gas lines
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
