Jeremy Stoppelman (born November 10, 1977) is an American business executive. He is the CEO of Yelp, which he co-founded in 2004. Stoppelman obtained a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 1999. After briefly working for @Home Network, he worked at X.com and later became the VP of Engineering after the company was renamed PayPal. Stoppelman left PayPal to attend Harvard Business School. During a summer internship at MRL Ventures, he and others came up with the idea for Yelp Inc. He turned down an acquisition offer by Google and took the company public in 2012.

Mr. Schwarzbach joins Yelp from Optimizely, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He is a seasoned finance expert who brings extensive experience in driving growth at consumer data and marketplace companies. He will be replacing James Miln, who has been serving as interim CFO since September 2019. Mr. Miln will resume his role leading Financial Planning and Analysis at Yelp.

Jed joined Yelp in 2007 to lead the company’s sales team. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2016, after serving as Yelp’s Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of Revenue. He oversees the company’s business operations including sales, marketing and administration. Prior to Yelp, Jed spent seven years in senior sales roles for Yahoo! HotJobs, most recently as Director of Corporate Sales for the Western Region. He began his career in the Venture Services Group of investment bank Robertson Stephens. Jed holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado.
