To put it simply, you will lead and manage a team of Instructional Coaches who directly support and influence first year teacher development of teachers enrolled in Teaching Excellence ACP. Instructional Coach Development * Developing Instructional Coach (IC) technical skills of effective Instructional Leader practices through consistent, weekly shared field time; * Developing IC knowledge and implementation of YES Prep Curricular Resources; * Developing IC knowledge and implementation of data analysis and data driven instructional leadership; * Managing the Teaching Excellence collaboration with campus leaders; * Providing clear, consistent, affirming and adjusting feedback to ICs that yields improved IC coaching skills, accelerated teacher growth, and positive student achievement results; * Consistently monitoring IC completion of certification tasks and other job-related tasks; * Creating and implementing performance management plans for employees consistently performing below expectations. Professional Learning * Building competence in Secondary YES Prep curricular resources; * Attending YES Prep district Instructional Leader professional development opportunities; * Developing IC skill in professional learning session writing and facilitation; * Leading Professional Learning groups focused on specific domains and focus areas of professional learning; * Providing clear, consistent feedback to ICs related to their performance of professional learning session writing and facilitation; * Collaborating with the Manager of Professional Learning to determine appropriate scope and sequence of year-long professional learning opportunities for teachers enrolled in Teaching Excellence ACP; * Participating and facilitating YES Prep district professional learning Sessions aligned to the goals and outcomes of Teaching Excellence ACP; * Promoting and developing personal expertise and content knowledge around district professional learning focus areas and priorities; * Facilitating and managing on-campus professional learning opportunities delivered by Teaching Excellence ACP. Systems Oversight * Collaborating with Managers of Certification to develop clear systems to track and monitor teacher progress towards completing certification; * Monitoring IC completion and accuracy of certification tracking and tasks; * Monitoring and tracking progress towards annual goals and objectives; * Strategizing and creating action plans in response to a lack of progress towards team goals; * Managing and providing feedback related to IC weekly calendars. Cross Functional Collaboration * Leading and supporting Teaching Excellence and campus collaboration related to teachers enrolled in Teaching Excellence ACP; * Attending Campus Instructional Team Meetings to align on campus priorities and to support teachers enrolled in Teaching Excellence ACP; * Collaborating with campus leadership to develop coaching pages and determine appropriate support for teachers enrolled in Teaching Excellence ACP; * Supporting campuses with additional requests or areas of support in ways that yield accelerated teacher growth and improved student achievement. * Additional duties as assigned THE PERSON We seek staff with a multitude of backgrounds, talents, interests, and ideas. Attendance, ADA Accuracy & Enrollment Support * Maintain ADA accuracy at 98-99%+ through daily monitoring and corrections. * Lead absence-calling routines and ensure documentation follows district expectations. * Partner with registrar and OC to reduce chronic absenteeism. * Support enrollment, onboarding, residency verification, and documentation compliance. Safety, Security, & Emergency Management * Maintain 100% compliance in safety drills, custody documentation, and emergency protocols. * Train staff on escort procedures, elopement response, building security, and emergency expectations. * Respond to small-scale incidents with calm, professional leadership. * Proactively identify and correct safety risks. Facilities, Grounds, & Environmental Readiness * Conduct ongoing walkthroughs using district readiness rubrics. * Partner with custodial, Facilities, and vendors to resolve issues quickly. * Ensure testing, BOY, and EOY readiness for all instructional and operational spaces. People Leadership: OC, Registrar, Receptionist * Conducts weekly coaching conversations with the OC, Registrar, and Receptionist focused on execution quality, accuracy, communication, and systems readiness * Delegate effectively and build ownership within the team. * Address misalignment quickly and professionally. * Maintain a calm, positive, professional tone across front office culture. Family Experience & Communication Systems * Ensure the front office and all family-facing systems are organized, welcoming, and responsive. * Maintain accurate, bilingual communication aligned to district expectations. * Resolve concerns with professionalism and maturity. * Support all family-facing events with high-quality logistics. Enrollment and Recruitment Strategy * Owns the enrollment and recruitment strategy for the campus, including goal setting, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and determining strategic adjustments. * Collaborates with the OC to co-design effective outreach and onboarding plans and provides ongoing coaching and clarity to ensure strong execution. * The OC leads execution of all enrollment and recruitment actions, while the DCO holds ultimate responsibility for meeting enrollment targets and system fidelity. * Oversees enrollment execution by coaching the OC and monitoring registrar documentation accuracy. Cross-Functional Coordination * Partner with Child Nutrition, IT/FST, Facilities, Transportation, SIS, S&S, and Assessment teams. * Submit and track tickets, work orders, and escalations with accuracy and urgency. * Represent campus needs clearly and advocate effectively. Testing, Technology, and Academic Operations * Lead all operational components of testing (STAAR, MAP, TELPAS). * Oversee 3-wave device audits, charger accountability, and testing readiness. * Support master schedule implementation and prevent operational interruptions to instruction. Ensures testing logistics and operational plans are fully implemented; instructional leaders maintain instructional integrity. Operational Equity & Compliance * Ensure fairness across grade levels in lunch, transitions, dismissal, recess, and instructional access. * Maintain compliance for attendance, enrollment, staffing coverage, and facility readiness. * Keep campus audit-ready at all times.
