Sharon Seemann, Chief Marketing Officer at YL Ventures, directs the firm’s marketing and communications strategy and portfolio companies’ value-add marketing activities.

Sharon strategizes and oversees the execution of the firm’s marketing output, including branding, partnerships, digital outreach, content generation, and PR. She works directly with YL Ventures’ portfolio companies to build and execute their marketing strategies and directs the hands-on support provided to the companies by the firm’s marketing team across all of their marketing initiatives. Under Sharon’s leadership, YL Ventures’ marketing efforts have played an integral role in bolstering the firm’s overall growth, brand awareness, and reach within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Sharon joined the firm from S.Horowitz & Co. law firm, where she practiced as a commercial litigation lawyer, after having clerked with Supreme Court Justice Uzi Vogelman. Prior to that, Sharon worked at IVC Research Center, where she performed research and analysis related to the Israeli technology and venture capital industry.

Sharon served in Unit 8200, an elite technological Intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces, and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and an MBA from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

As Chief of Staff at YL Ventures, I manage operations at the firm’s Silicon Valley office and lead all U.S. logistical efforts for the firm.I provide key support to the firm’s executive team and drive strategic initiatives to help elevate company culture and employee well-being, human resources and staffing processes, as well as support the firm’s U.S. events coordination. I provide value-add support to the firm’s portfolio companies by managing communications, logistics and meetings with the firm’s Venture Advisory Board and portfolio board of directors. Prior to YL Ventures, I managed support operations in the real estate and architectural fields, including: property development, graphic design, marketing, land use planning, entitlements, financing, and transactions. In addition, I launched several start-ups in the fitness and food industries, and continue to serve in an advisory capacity.
