The BASE Site Manager is responsible for all on-site operations of the center licensed to serve 30 or more participants. Responsibilities are inclusive of ensuring children are actively engaged in safe and enriching activities, and communicating with key stakeholders, which include school administration, staff, and parents. He/she is also responsible for implementing the monthly curriculum. Lastly, he/she provides supervisorial support to all on-site staff: group aides, teacher and program volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Director is responsible for the overall effective operation and quality of the BASE program
* Fulfills her/his role and responsibilities in the before/after school program including all aspects of safety, risk management, supervision of children and staff, meeting quality, by maintaining site guidelines, curriculum standards, OCC regulations, DHMH regulations, and any other standard, policy, or procedure as deemed necessary by the Y in Central Maryland
* Attends PTA Meetings, Back to school nights, kindergarten roundups, school meet and greets, and all other school activities that promote our program
* Participate and regional committees
* Participate in organization surveys
* Attend organization town hall events
* Responsible for driving enrollment and maintaining enrollment to sites capacity
* Monthly parent engagement
* Responsible for one outside service project
* Responsible for Send a kid to camp and Turkey Trot fundraising efforts
* Work at least 2 Fun days per school year
* Assist with training new Site leaders
* Actively help recruit and retain new associates and assist with interviews
* Assist in bridging the gap between Base and Family centers by participating in family events
* Leads staff meetings with site staff and other staff meetings as necessary
* Attends mandatory Site Managers' meetings, monthly curriculum meetings and required Director training
* Coaches and trains supervising site associates on OCC regulations, Y policies and procedures, and other standards as set forth by the Y of Central Maryland. Will need to be compliant with all OCC regulations
* Participates in site-based associates' performance reviews and performance improvement plan meetings (along with coordinator)
* Participates in opportunities for professional growth such as workshops, conferences, college, and graduate courses as required by the BASE Coordinator
* Provides direction to associates and children
* Implements program curriculum effectively
* Conducts regular mock assessments, and completes Assessment Visit Action Plans by set deadline
* Enforces all rules and to make effective decisions to ensure the safety and security of program participants
* Relates effectively to diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community

Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of youth development associates at your site.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of each child by operating the program in a safe and purposeful manner.

Qualifications
* Associate's degree, either in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field or sufficient college coursework/credits and a minimum of six months experience in order to meet state licensing requirements for Director Approval at the capacity of the site.
* Qualifications to obtain a Program Director's approval, in the state of Kansas or Missouri, holding a license for the capacity of the site.
* Minimum of six months experience in understanding and applying the principles of school-age development and programming in a before and after school program.
* Relationship building and leadership skills.
* Sensitivity to clientele and associates representing a variety of family, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
* Active involvement with and supervision of children requiring physical stamina, alertness, and emotional stability.

Scope
The BMS Field Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of field coordination of controls projects.
Duties
Coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects.
Consult with Project Manager regarding scope additions and deductions, priorities and deadlines.
Review contract documents and reconcile with RFIs, and project correspondence regarding approved additional scope to determine what scope should and should not be executed and confirm with the Project Manager.
Supervise subcontractors including prioritizing work to meet intermediate deadlines, authorizing, directing, tracking, and documenting additional work.
Devise solutions to complete portions of scope required to permit subsequent trade work to commence on time.
Coordinate (and document) with other trades and the General Contractor regarding devices, locations, installation requirements and functionality of system components.

Anticipate and be able to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines.
Perform necessary point to point check-out, commissioning, diagnostic, and maintenance procedures on building automation systems, front-end workstations, servers, electric and pneumatic controls.
Troubleshoot and repair building automation system panels, including communications equipment, printed circuit boards, power supplies, electrical/electronic controls, sensors, and transducers.
Efficiently edit computer programs for building automation system points such as determining conversion patterns, defining point acronyms, and/or soliciting alarm specifications from operating personnel.
Implement energy conservation measures by utilizing and/or modifying the existing building automation system features i.e. mathematical computation and environmental controls.
Maintain project related documentation including but not limited to commissioning documentation, daily reports, as-builts and status reports.
Plan, organize and carry out assigned job responsibilities within established time parameters.

Assist in Junior technician evaluation and training

Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years field experience in the HVAC controls industry including DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration, and experience with pneumatic controls.
Knowledge of Automated Logic commissioning tools and field circuit debugging skills preferred.
Understanding of the construction industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields.
Abile to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, WebCTRL, AutoCad, various operating systems.
Proven track record of completing jobs on schedule, being self-motivated and achieving full customer satisfaction.

Job Summary: Work closely with the District Service Manager managing the daily field operations of the group. Will handle a small agreement base that they will be responsible for performing pm and repairs, additionally catching reactive service calls when required.

Maintain accurate program records which includes but is not limited to: Report snack needs to the kitchen staff each Friday / picking up snacks every Monday; obtain rosters / mail from YMCA's main office twice a week; daily attendance, rosters, time sheets, incident reports, etc.
Respond immediately to all discipline concerns, working towards a positive resolution and ensure adequate supplies and resources are available for all children.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and in-service training per State requirements.
Qualifications
Must have customer service experience
Must be 21 years of age older
Must have knowledge in the supervision and safety of children
Must possess leadership skills that can assist in encouraging and motivating children
Must be able to identify age and grade level characteristics of children
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
First Aid and CPR training will be required and if necessary, training will be provided
Must have an understanding of the relationship of the general public to the association
