POSITION SUMMARY:
The Early Learning Assistant Teacher will assist in the planning, developing, and implementing of classroom activities for infant, toddler, or preschool programs. This position requires on site, face-to-face leadership. Center hours vary by location, but generally require flexible scheduling between 6 AM and 6 PM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists Site Coordinator/Supervisor in developing and leading daily lesson plans
Actively engages with children in the classroom
Assists with daily parent communication
Prepares materials for daily activity
Maintains records of attendance, arrival, and departure times
Maintains supervision of children
Assists Site Supervisor with parent-teacher conferences as needed
Efficiently communicates with classroom teaching team

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lifeguard is responsible for guarding the aquatic facility and/or aquatic activities to secure the safety of pool occupants and program participants. POSITION SUMMARY
The Health Officer is responsible for the supervision of health and cleanliness standards with a focus on Day Camp programs, facilities, and campers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: organizing Day Camp health forms, working with camp nurse to control and dispense medicine to campers and staff, and ensuring the health and wellness of staff and campers in Day Camp, along with supporting other aspects of Camp programming both administratively and programmatically.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Identify and Meet Camper/Staff Needs
Organize and file camper health forms.
Help organize and update Day Camp daily rosters (group and bus rosters).
Organize and update Health Log Documentation daily
Keep records of health management.
Communicate camper concerns to staff and kitchen staff where needed.
Control and dispense camper meds where needed.
Clean and disinfect areas of camp that may pose health concerns.
Inventory health supplies and order more when needed.
Track, organize, and return Day Camp Lost and Found
Be a patient, enthusiastic role model for our campers and staff.
Assume a counselor role where needed.
Help facilitate safe and fun programs for campers based on the YMCA core values.

Carry Out Camp Programs

The registered dietician will counsel both individuals, and groups, on daily nutrition needs for health as well as performance using scientific, evidenced-based nutritional recommendations. POSITION SUMMARY
The Arts & Crafts Specialist provides direct supervision of a group of up to 10 children in a summer camp outdoor setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: direct supervision of campers in either the Day Camp or Overnight Camp setting, leading activities focusing on values and 21st century life skills each day, fully participate within the guidelines of all YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin programs, and provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusion.

Part-time, Temporary Description
is for our sprig soccer season at the Litehouse Family YMCA.
The League Sports Official will be responsible for the refereeing and officiating of youth games. The League Sports Official will ensure a safe, fun area for members and participants to interact and enjoy. This position requires face-to-face leadership in the program and may involve early morning and weekend responsibilities. Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM availability is required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
After School Program Teachers provide a reliable, safe, and fun environment for children to prepare for their school day and unwind from it. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the planning, developing, and implementation of classroom activities. Schedules vary, but require weekday availability, 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and/or 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Camp Counselor provides direct supervision of a group of up to 10 children, grades K-8th, in a summer camp outdoor setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: direct supervision of campers in either the Day Camp or Overnight Camp setting and leading activities focusing on values and 21st century life skills each day. Must be at least 18 years of age. Overnight counselors are required to live on site. Day counselors, on site housing is optional.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Learn the likes/dislikes of each participant
Be a positive role model for all campers and fellow staff
Provide opportunities for the group so that each individual experiences success during camp
Guide cabin or trail groups in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities
Supervise all assigned aspects of the campers' day, including morning reveille, cabin clean-up, activities, meal times, rest hour, evening activities, getting ready for bed, and after-hours duties as assigned
Help campers plan their participation in unit-wide or camp-wide programs, special events, and activities
May be required to teach and lead activities based on certification or skill level in that area (lifeguarding, boating, adventure, skating)

COMPENSATION
