Job Title: YReads! Program Tutor Job Description: The YReads! Program is an exciting literacy/mentoring initiative for kindergarten through fifth-grade students, taking place at Pinellas County Schools throughout St. Petersburg, FL. The program uses curriculum-based literacy instruction to help struggling readers in areas of phonetics, sight word recognition, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. As a tutor, you would provide assistance and support to the program coordinator during YReads! hours to ensure that outlined program goals and procedures are being achieved. Duties: Assists in student supervision, help maintain order, and positively reinforce "good choices" when appropriate. Assists students to and from the restroom.
