Job Title: YReads! Program Tutor Job Description: The YReads! Program is an exciting literacy/mentoring initiative for kindergarten through fifth-grade students, taking place at Pinellas County Schools throughout St. Petersburg, FL. The program uses curriculum-based literacy instruction to help struggling readers in areas of phonetics, sight word recognition, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Job Title: Personal Trainer, Jim & Heather Gills Branch YMCA Description: Designs personal fitness programs for people with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Instructs and educates members in proper strength, cardiovascular and overall wellness training principles in individual or small-group settings. Educates and enforces operational guidelines and regulations with all members. Promotes healthy living for personal training clients and staff, while working in a results-driven, team atmosphere. Job Title: Lifeguard (Morning and Day shifts), Speer Branch YMCA Description: The Speer Branch YMCA Outdoor Aquatics Center features an 8-lane, 25-yard lap pool, a smaller warm-water teaching pool, and a splash pad. The Center serves not only YMCA members but also local middle school students. The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, on the deck, and in surrounding areas. This role helps create a safe and positive atmosphere that encourages member safety and engagement, in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
