This position is located at the Easterseals Academy - Machesney Park Campus at 8301 Mitchelle Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. MAJOR FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Empty, wipe clean, and refill all cigarette urns Empty and remove all trash from trash receptacles and damp clean and dry receptacles from the interior common areas, restrooms, and exterior entrances. Replace liners and disinfect as needed. Detail vacuum all accessible carpeted areas and entrance mats. Remove visible spots from carpeted areas. Clean and sanitize drinking fountains/water coolers using disinfectant. Clean and sanitize telephones. Dust all high and low vertical and horizontal surfaces. Dust and clean using disinfectant on all fixtures and office furniture including file cabinets, desks, credenzas, countertops, displaced units, window sills, wall ledges, picture frames, partition tops, etc. Mop hard surface floors using disinfectant, including stairwells. Sweep and police the exterior of all entrances, removing all gum and debris. Must be checked several times a day. Damp wipe staircase hand railings.
