YOUR IMPACT The Youth and Family Instructor will be responsible for engaging in and implementing all programs and activities daily through Kids' Care and other Youth & Family programs. Youth and Family Instructors will guide the development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy environment using materials and resources provided. Staff provide a safe and fun environment for children while parents are involved in YMCA activities. Staff will engage with children to allow them the opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively within the context of a caring relationships with the adults in the program. Staff will provide a quality experience to children and parents with focus on quality program operations. This position may also be expected to support programs and events in the Youth & Family department including participating in a rotating weekend schedule.
EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Follows procedures for the day-to-day operations of childcare programming, to include the Kids Care program and Kids Night Out, meeting all applicable state regulations and YMCA policies.
* Engages in a program that is developmentally appropriate, meeting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the participants.
* Provides careful, attentive supervision, and is alert at all times.
* Uses the program resources responsibly to enrich the experiences for all participants. These materials are multicultural, nonsexist, and anti-bias.
* Supports a program that adheres to YMCA health and safety standards (and local and state standards that apply) and exhibits high standards in cleanliness and presentation.

* Organizes and maintains needed program supplies, spaces, and equipment through the completion of daily and end of shift checklists.
* Demonstrates appropriate decision-making abilities when reaction time needs to be quick.
* Supports climbing wall as needed and up to training level.
* Ensures the Youth and Family Department meets the needs of our members, to positively impact member retention and recruitment.

QUALIFICATIONS

About the Opportunity:
This role will lead, manage, scale and evolve new business offerings as part of the WES strategic plan. The incumbent will utilize their skills in strategic thought-leadership, problem-solving, and product vision to develop products and management frameworks. What You'll Do:
Lead development and execution of a multi-year strategy to evolve the product opportunity and business model for WES Program Recognition.

Define a differentiated business strategy positioning based on an understanding of the market including potential competitors, substitutes, and technology trends.

Assess business and technology trade-offs, find creative solutions, and define product and delivery objectives.
Manage product P&L and budget.
Continuously develop a deep understanding and empathy for WES Program Recognition current customers and potential new product users. Driving growth to 200 programs by the end of year one.
Lead development and execution of a data-informed product roadmap of new and improved product features.
Define pricing structures, licensing, and distribution mechanisms.
Experience leading and managing a small team of direct reports (4-5) and cross-functional team resources to achieve goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional resources to build and execute product launch and go-to market strategy. Including defining relevant content, value propositions for typical use cases, distribution on applicable channels, and defining product line sales targets as well as countermeasures to address shortfalls.

Program Trainer - SNAP Intermediary Full Time IL
Reporting to the Intermediary Director, the Program Trainer - SNAP Intermediary is responsible for the coordination and delivery of state-wide training to new and existing Illinois provider partners/subgrantees. This will include new provider orientation, new staff training and refresher training for existing provider staff who are deployed to work with SNAP 2 Success Employment & Training participants within their organization. In addition, the individual will collaborate with the statewide Regional Managers to assess subgrantee training needs and responsible for the development of supplemental training resources.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Intermediary Director, Regional Program Managers and other National Able and Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) staff to identify and develop training resources and job aids to supplement and support IDHS processes and ensure program compliance.
Assist in the development of training workshops, curriculum and programs to address the needs of subgrantees and IDHS customers for continued program enhancement and expansion.
Provide train-the-trainer instruction for appropriate provider and compliance staff, when warranted.
Establish training schedules based upon anticipated customer needs, especially related to the Illinois SNAP Employment and Training System (ISETS).
Handle (or arrange for the handling of) all logistics for training sessions including: reserving room(s), setting up Web-X, arranging with support staff for room set-up/break-down with adequate office and audio/visual supplies/equipment, printing and collating materials necessary for training sessions, making travel arrangements (when necessary) and tracking all expenses.
Obtain feedback on quality and effectiveness of assessment and training and conduct program evaluation
Interact effectively with other program personnel and Able departments (e.g. IT, Finance, Compliance, etc.) to ensure timely communication of information, sharing of resources and coordination of programs, activities, events and services.
Compile data and produce regular management reports on a weekly basis, or as requested, to include trainee attendees.
Assume and perform other duties, tasks and special projects as requested by Intermediary Director or Regional Program Managers.
Be primary contact for ISETS User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with ISETS programming team (SIU) and IDHS.
Work with a variety of internal and external individuals ranging from volunteers to management and must be capable of providing information to people who are not always familiar with the program(s). Work with Regional Program Managers to maintain, assess, and adjust training provider deliverables as necessary to ensure they are producing the desired contracted outcomes. May be required to assist the program director in monitoring costs/invoices associated with the program and all events and/or training to ensure alignment with Finance budget.
May facilitate/coordinate new provider/new joiner training sessions, workshops, and provider refresher training, both virtually and in-person.
Create and distribute email communications to provider partners/subgrantees regarding updates to program processes, as well as due dates for monthly updates (attendance information, submittal of reimbursement invoices, etc.).
Continually reviews and evaluates all phases of program includes, but not limited to training, procedures, development, and resources such as equipment or services and makes recommendations to management for program improvement.
Will serve as a liaison between provider and IDHS in the resolution of technological or non-technological support issues.

Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and organizational skills.
Solid working knowledge of adult learning principles.
Experience in conducting needs assessments and program development, including curriculum development and design, testing, evaluation, quality control, performance metrics and reporting for adult education programs.
Able to conduct training sessions both in person and remotely, as necessary.
Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to track and utilize data management tools.

It is our vision to see every child and family that we serve growing in a life-transforming relationship with Jesus through the church.
