The role also entails supporting the claims function in specific insurance classes to drive operational efficiency, efficient claims settlement, and fair resolution of claims disputes in line with company guidelines and philosophy. The selected candidate will manage the complete investigation, evaluation and resolution of assigned portfolio of complex claims emanating the lawyers professional and miscellaneous professional liability business segments, Engages, directs and manages external advisors and vendors including legal service professionals, discovery vendors, data and security experts and consultants across highly complex portfolio of matters. Requirements and Responsibilities: • 7 to 8 years experience in Big Law insurance lines (towers of insurance) • Lawyer or law degree ideally (JD not required) • Claims for mission policies i.e. legal malpractice for Architects and Engineers, Property Managers, etc. • Some collaboration with small law i.e retaining outside counsel • E&O errors and omissions - related to professionals services and errors related to this • Litigation, budgets, and mediation experience • Some type of financial lines / specialties i.e. EPL, D&O - directors and officers, E&O, others (not general property liability) • Private company D&O is ideal but open to public company (D&O is more relevant to small law claim, smaller retentions, etc.) • ImagieRight (Vertafore ImageRight) and ClaimsCenter (Guidewire ClaimCenter) are ideal systems but not required • Ability to travel on occasion (not frequently) • Adjustor licenses would be a plus Estimated Min Rate: $70.00 Estimated Max Rate: $90.00 What's In It for You?     The Global Streaming Research and Insights team is responsible for developing a deep understanding of streaming audiences around the world, then disseminating those findings within the company. The Manager, Streaming Research and Insights is responsible for streaming insights that help meet key business objectives on behalf of streaming brands. This role's primary responsibility is to assist with the management, analysis and reporting of consumer insights projects and initiatives that support the needs of the streaming business. In particular, the Manager will help re-establish a Post Run Testing initiative around priority and will also help establish weekly reporting on awareness, attribution and intent to view for priority titles leveraging syndicated data. The Manager will also help support the team's overall responsibility for providing consumer-driven insights on the rapidly changing, complex media and entertainment landscape and will work on various streaming or general audience insight projects as needed. In addition to extensive analytical and interpersonal skills, this role requires someone who knows how to interpret data and consumer research, who has experience leading primary consumer insights projects and who has an understanding of the streaming landscape. They must demonstrate the ability to see patterns, connect insights among consumers and to take a leadership role in project management. A candidate with a passion for media and streaming is a must. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Work closely with Vice President and the wider team to design, field, coordinate, analyze and disseminate quantitative and qualitative research projects including surveys, online research, focus groups, or other forms of research as required. Subjects will primarily focus on streaming, but may also extend to other topics related to media and technology as well as general audience insight areas when needed. • Direct and supervise research vendors where relevant; infuse perspective into projects; ensure outcomes are insightful and deliver on business needs and champion the wide communication of results throughout the organization. • As part of the insights team, contribute to establishing best practice processes and approaches, as well as the maintenance and expansion of insights tools and systems.
