Mortgage AI SME
Kforce 4.8
Saint Louis, MO job
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Mortgage AI SME for the development of a 4-6 hour "AI in Practice" certification program - 10-20 hours total. We are seeking a Mortgage Innovation SME to spearhead the development of our client's "AI-First" certification specifically for Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs) and lending professionals. The mortgage industry is at a tipping point; we are looking for an expert who is already utilizing AI to streamline the "origination-to-closing" pipeline and who can teach others to do the same.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of AI Learning & Enablement to build a "Knowledge and Action" framework. You will help MLOs understand that AI isn't just a gimmick-it is a foundational tool for lead nurturing, document analysis, and hyper-personalized client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Applied Workflow Design: Develop scenarios and learning modules that show MLOs exactly how to use AI in their daily workflow (e.g., AI-driven lead qualification, automated status updates, and synthesizing complex guidelines/loan programs)
* "Action-Oriented" Content: Create tasks and activities that empower learners to build their own "AI Assistants" for repetitive tasks like email drafting, CRM management, and scenario pricing
* Thought Leadership & Media: Record approximately 2 hours of high-impact content, including "How-to" videos and podcast discussions on the future of the AI-augmented loan officer
* Compliance & Safety: Integrate "Safe AI" principles into the curriculum, ensuring MLOs understand how to use these tools while adhering to fair lending laws and data security protocols
* Strategic Modification: Review existing AI training materials and "localize" them for the mortgage industry to ensure the language, pain points, and solutions resonate with active producers* Industry Expertise: Significant experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Broker, or Lending Executive; Active "in the trenches" experience is highly preferred
* AI-First Mindset: You are an early adopter who is already experimenting with LLMs (like ChatGPT or Claude) and AI agents to manage your pipeline or marketing
* Educational Background: Experience training other LOs or speaking at industry events is a plus
* Communication: Ability to speak the "language of the LO"-fast-paced, results-oriented, and practical; You can explain the "why" and the "how" of AI without the jargon
* Tech-Forward: Comfortable with modern mortgage tech stacks and interested in how AI integrates with CRMs and LOS (Loan Origination Systems)
* High Impact: You are a practitioner first, willing to share your expertise to help elevate the entire profession
